A Morning in May.

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping. And here I am sitting on the living room couch basking in the sunshine with my first cup of morning-coffee. Ah, life is great.

I need this. This quiet "Me-time" every morning. When I can just sit and do virtually nothing. I don't have to talk, nor do I want to. Just sit here, listen to the birds/the radio/S's snores that are maknig their way all the way out here from the bedroom...

This is the perfect start of my day. Totally.

Also...It's Mother's Day. So Happy Mother's Day all Mums!

Also...My Mum wouldn't call 11 o'clock morning...

Sunday.HairMetal and Rime In Me Hair...

Dear Blog...

Last night I managed to get lost and somehow ended up at A8 x) I wonder how THAT happaned. Well anyways had loads of fun. Saw alot of people that I haven't seen in ages!
It's so much fun to talk to someone that you haven't talked to for awhile, because you have so much to talk about! Most Awesome.

Today...I haven't done that much. Basically; woke up, had a very-much-needed cup of coffee, watched Nin ja Warrior on the telly (I know. I know. Spare me please), then I went for a walk and the strangest thing happened. By bangs were coated in rime! My hair wasn't even wet! Most strange.
Now I'm sitting here listening to Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue and any other metal-band I happen to have stored somewhere...Radical!

Over and Out.

Day 3-On Which The Skies Opened...

Waking up to the sound of a storm is not very pleasant when you know that you have to get out of bed. The fact that the wind is blowing so hard that it sounds like the roof is about to take a hike, and the raindrops are hitting the windows so hard it sounds more like someone's trying to break said windows with small pebbles, is not the sound of a promising day.

The snooze button was my friend today. When I made myself get up (15 minutes later than usual) coffee was the first thing on my mind that and the fact that I so did not want to emerge from under the covers at all.
Weather like this is rather depressing actually. You just want to stay in bed and watch movies or read or something like that. It's nice when you have a day off and can just...be during the day. But when work calls...you just get moody. Atleast I do.

As I stand here watching the clouds try to drown us all cry, I can't help but realize that Autumn really is here. When its not raining or storming like it is today, Autumn can be really beautiful. Today is not one of those days.

I Don't Like Rain...

It just started raining. A whole fucking lot. Damn. I so do not enjoy rain...well it's kinda nice...sometimes. When you're all bundled up inside sitting and watching a good movie or reading a book. But when your plans are to maybe go on a minor shopping spree...rain is definitly tabu.

At work at the moment, only have like an hour left and then it's time for my haircut! Awesomeness. I still dn't have a clue on how I want to cut it though...Mum asked me this morning; "So how are you going to cut your hair? What have you planned?" I just looked at her strangely (I had just woken up, hadn't had any caffeine and was NOT in the mood for small talk) and grumbled something about "I dunno". She sighed and turned back to the computerscreen and continued to play "Farm Town" or whatever on facebook. It's lame. I don't get it, but apparently it's addictive.

Well now I'm gonna check out some Weather Site on Bettinas request...apparently rain is not welcomed in Hanko later this afternoon...mohah.

Well I'll update later on my new hair-due...might even post a pic...who knows? The Smurfs? probably they're almighty or something...

Over and Out.

Next Plane To Spilt, Please?

Greetings Dear Munchkins.

I am back in the country (have been since Sunday, but haven't had the time/want to blog). My trip to Croatia was most pleasant. I loved it. And I do want to tell you about it but since a 2 week long vacation can't by any means be squeezed into one post I have decided to do a day-by-day post from the small diary I wrote during the trip. Two week starting from today.
I really miss the weather...going from 30+ to 12+ isn't very pleasant...
Nothing of importance happened today so I will just start with that.

My Trip To Croatia 2009.

Day One. Sunday 31.5.

At approxly 03:15 my trip southern of Denmark started. Vince Neil was screaming in my ears about Dr.Feelgood as the taxi my dad was driving took off towards Helsinki. And in my mind I asked myself why I hadn't taken in more Caffiene that morning...
Thats Me at the airport...very tired...
My first time ever on an airplane went well...it felt somewhat like a Carnival Ride of some sorts...

My first look on the country I would stay the next two weeks in were humoungous mountains and clear sparkly water.
At the airport a taxi-driver took us to Split.
He was very talkatvie though his english wasn't the best.
As soon as we entered Split I started to wonder if the only words he truly knew were was "Ticket" and "Garderobe" since the poor man waved towards both said places numerous of times.
And saying the word over...and over...and over again. I think he might have thought we were stupid because when we left the cab and he drove by he shouted mentioned words from the open window and pointing. It was rather funny and became the first of many inside jokes.

The boat to Hvar that we were supposed to take (and the ticket Mr Taxi Driver went on about) was going in a few hours so we spent a couple of hours in Split exploring.

We found a huge statue of a man (Look to the left) with a Golden Toe...apparently it was supposed to give Good Luck if you rubbed it. I refrained from rubbing the gigantic golden toe...who knew where it had been?

Split is filled with small roads and old church.like buildings and simply beautiful, at least the old parts where we were. The newer parts are very much like any other big city...

The ferry Adriana took us the the island Hvar and the city Hvar (confused yet? I was...). Where we were met by enthusiastic Apartmant Owners all wanted us to stay at their place.

But we went with the nice man we now know as Vlade Bubalo (Oh yeah, I had a few laughs about the name). His apartmant was really ice and had a great view.
And was 100m from the beach (this later showed not to be the exact truth). On the way to his apartmant though he took it upon himself to show us the important things in Hvar, most important was a local Football Game mere meters from the apartmant.
He found this very important and pointed it out to us 8 times...atleast. But all in all Bubalo was a nice man who proclaimed that if we ever needed him we could "Call him always".

When we had established ourselves we went down to Hvar City and to the resturant Giuseppes. And anyone going to Hvar, Croatia should definitly eat their Jumbo Pizza. Absolutley fantastic! The waitor, who I named Mario in my head, no ide what his real name was...anyhow was really nice and weell like I said...the food was excellent. Even after his strange suggestion of putting cream on the pizza (Ew). And that was the first day, stay tuned for Day 2.
Over and out.

Clearly I Have Gone Mad...

At work for the last time in a very long period of time. Next week I have to attend some final classes...not that we'll actually do anything important...we just have to attend for one reason or the other (these reasons are still unknown to me).

So one final week and then this period of my life will be over and done with. I don't know what to think of it really... Should I be sad and bawl my eyes out? Happy that it's over and I can now move on to the next part of my life...whatever that is?
These thoughts swirl around in my head, accompanied by the voices of my conscience and my personal little narrator.
Yes, I do believe I have a small narrator in my head that narrates me through the day, this occured to me when I had watched a Scrubs Marathon a couple of weeks ago. Because I shit you not, I am really narrating my life in my head sometimes just like dearest J.D. strange but true...That and the fact that I'm convinced that my "Angel & Devil Replicas of Myself" aka my conscience guys that you see in cartoons...are infact not replicas of me...but miniature Captain Jack Sparrows. This is something that I thought of a couple of years ago when I had watched PotC repeatedly. My friend proclaimed me mad. I did not disagree...still don't.

Well enough ramblings on my part...I am going to go and do something productive and of most importance (fill up my Coffee Cup). So with that...

Over and Out.

Caffeine and Boredom.

I think I might have drunk too much coffee today. All because of the small fact that I am bored. And slightly stressed since I realized that I am soon leaving this country for Croatia. And I have...basically...done absolutley Nothing to prepare myself. That sounds like me yeah...always leaving every single thing to the last minute. Mahaw.

By the by...I read this post titled "101 Things About Me" and I know that those things circle around...everywhere (Facebook,Blogs,Quizilla...you name it). And for some very odd reason that I can not point out, I love them. Yeah, I am a sucker for those things. And you can expect on of those posted on this very Blog in the matter of days...or hours...either one.

And tomorrow is a free day, which means; No Work! And stay inside and watch movies all day! Yeah.

But I think that I should go and do something remotely productive...Like I don't know...Drink More Coffee?
