Sometimes Life is Complicated.

When you feel like the past weeks have been like starring in a Soap Opera, well, it just makes life alot more complicated.
My head has been turned and spun all the way around a couple of times these past weeks...I've felt confused and like my life suddenly turned into a really bad Soap Opera.

It's a good thing that we're heading for yet another fair this weekend, I need to get out of this town for awhile. Clear my head. Set things straight. Figure stuff out.

Some Tunes.

I have this strange want to go out and party again. I say strange because I've been doing so for the last couple of weekends. How come I'm not tired of it yet? Anyway here's three songs that make me want to dance and well the first one is soo last year but I found it hidden on my computer and fell inlove with it all over again. It's just so fitting right now, is' all. ;)

Total awesomeness. And now two songs that make me wanna dance!

Silliness feat. My Phone.

I've just figured out how to change the ringtone on my phone so a different tone rings for different people. Can you feel how bored I am?

My Phone now plays "Welcome to the family" by Avenged Sevenfold everytime someone from my family calls. I thought it was hilarious. Or maybe not...

My work-buddies got Manic Monday by whoever. I haven't found the perfect cover/song yet but I know that's the tune they're getting.

V got "You're My Best friend" by Queen, obviously.

S. got "Everything" by Michael Bublé.

And everyone else is "Santa Monica" by Theory of a Deadman...for now...

mohahahahah...

Day 13: Goals

Another wicked difficult one. Or it was until I really started thinking about it.

That's how I came to this conclusion.

I have just one goal and that is to Live Life to it's fullest.

That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

And I feel rather pigheaded, lame and pathetic for actually typing the following sentence down, but I can't help it.

Life, right now, as it is. Is Pretty Fucking Awesome.

We♥it.

Day 1: Introduce, recent picture of yourself, 15 interesting facts

Recent Picture; Halloween 2010.
Hey You!

My first Challenge is to introduce myself, so here goes nothing.

My name is Charlotta, I am 20 years old and I live in this small town that barely makes the maps.

The diploma I got from school tells me I'm a Cosmetician so that's what I do for a living, I work at a Spa which is great.
On my spare time (aka when I'm not working my arse off),
the dork in me likes to read, write, listen to music and watch movies and later rant about them endlessly. I also consider myself a borderline Shopaholic because I just love buying clothes. I'm not a fashionista, believe me far from it but I really like to dress up in different outfits. Shoes and bags are my guilty pleasures.
But most of all I love hanging out with my awesome friends. And I spend alot of my time with the S.A. (Read This if you're lost and don't get it) as well, of course.

That's kind of me in a nutshell, I think. If you want more just  check out the About a Girl page.

And Now the 15 (Not-So)Interesting Facts.

  1. I am afraid of Clowns.
  2. I don't eat Green Candy.
  3. I'm hopelessly inlove with Johnny Depp.
  4. Rock, Metal, Alternative music makes my heart beat faster but I do have a soft spot for John Mayer.
  5. My toenails has not been nailpolish-free since I was 13.
  6. I have a really bad memory.
  7. The word I use too much is; What?
  8. I think tattoos are hot.
  9. I am a hopeless Romantic.
  10. Procastinating is my speciality.
  11. I have issues with the word No.
  12. I sometimes read Poetry, because Dead Poets Society made it cool.
  13. I quote Barney Stinson alot.
  14. I have many fictional-crushes.
  15. And last and least; My favorite color is purple.

To Dress up or Not Dress Up, That is the Question.

Halloween is approaching and I'm going to spend it at my friends place in Turku. We're going to go and see whatever scary movie they're playing; possibly Paranormal Activty 2 or...gulp...Saw 3D. I've never been able to dit through a Saw movie, so I'm kinda rooting for option numero uno. And after that we're probably going out to a Club or something.

Halloween is also a time when I'm questioning wether I should go in a costume or not...
Is there an age when it  becomes taboo to dress up in costume? Or is it just certain costumes?
Two years ago I went as a vampire rockstar. (Note; this was during my Twilight obsessed period)

The picture is slightly gimpified, but not by much. I felt so cool, but the hair was awful to clean out from all the junk I had to put in it. Same goes for the incredibly white make-up, even if I am rather pale on my own. But the point is; it was awesome! So I am considering donning a costume this year, but I think I'm a bit late for that. So maybe some fancy eye-lashes or something will do? I'll think about it.What do you think?

Nail-Polish-Color of the Day; Light Purple.

Peace Out.

I really don't need to spend any more quality time with Mr. Toilet Bowl in the near Future.

So this weekend was, um, nice. Saturday was spent with my work-comrades bowling, eating and then going out. We had fun. Then I kinda ditched them to go dancing with my friends at a club. Awesome. Oh it would have been, or it was until; I started to feel like shit.
Note to self; never accept shots that your not one hundred percent sure of whats in them. EVER again. Savvy? Espc. not since you've had several other shots (amongst other alcoholic beverages) before that.

I spent my Sunday morning having some quality time with Mr. Toilet Bowl. Not Cool. Then I went back to sleep, then I went shopping but as you can guess my heart, mind and soul wasn't in it *wink*. So when I got home I went bac to sleep. I had a day off today which was probably good.

I could say that I'm never drinking again, and truth to be told that's what went through my mind when I stumbled into bed on Saturday/Sunday Night/Morning. But then I would be lying. Ugh.

I'm so Over and Out.

I'm so not hugging you in the near future.

I'm sorry Patrick Jane, but I might just elope with Dean Winchester instead of marrying you.

Hey, long title and pretty strange I know.

Today was normal. Which in a way was very relaxing. Later I'm going to pick up my friend from the Airport. Probably should get ready for that but I ended up here instead. What a surprise.

So, I've been watching Suoernatural a lot lately; hence this post's title. Just because it's awesome. It's about supernatural things, and starring two very attractive guys, how can I not like it?
And once again a fictional character has stolen my heart. Yeah, I'm so crushing on Dean Winchester right now. I think I might even leave my imaginary-husband Patrick Jane for him and elope.

I'm sorry Patrick, but this guy is awesome. And so damn cute.

Katy Perry is Pretty Wicked.

So I'm sitting here listening to Katy Perry of all things. And I've come to realize that I actually like her music. And not only that her whole style. She is pretty cool. And she's marrying Russell Brand of all people, a man I find extremely funny and wicked.

She is pretty beautiful, isn't she? And I just adore her style, am I the only one?

And now a song from her new album; Teenage Dream. I just love this song.

Peace Out.

I am officially Insane and Looking at Furniture.

I am sitting here, surfing the interweb and looking at sofas and other furniture. I am so stupid.
a) I don't have an apartment yet.
b) I'm getting way too overexcited about furniture that might not even suit/fit into my future apartment. Which I still don't have!
c) This has to be mentioned three times; I Do Not Have an Apartment. So why on earth am I looking at furniture?

Anyway. This is what I've found so far;
I definitely want one of these couches. I adore that couch-style and they're mucho comfortable.

How cute are these?

I fell inlove with this! It's modern-ish, yet vintage-ish and so homey and liveable!
And last but not least. This just screamed my name. Honest!

Half Naked Men.

That sure caught your attention, didn't it?

Autumn is approaching. I can feel it. So that mean that summer is practically gone. But how, when and where did it go?

I started thinking yesterday when I was talking to my friend, what have I done this summer? Well, messed around mostly actually, had loads of fun. But I'm not sure where the time went? Crazy, it is.

Anyway, Last night I went to ugh, I'm actually strangely embarrased to say it. Scandinavian Hunks. Yep, a bunch of half-naked men dancing around to music and taking some of their clothing off. What kind of self respecting person does that for a living? I mean seriously? I could never do that. Not that I'm complaining it was, after all, a very ehrm...interesting show.

Yeah, THEM. That kinda explains about everything, right? *wink*.

Anyway, today I've been so damn tired. I've seriosuly slept the day away. It sucks. And now I'm cranky, mahaw.

Lotta Out.

We're On A Boat.

Yeah, that's exactly what I heard some bloke say when I walked past him on the ferry to Sweden this weekend. My brain was telling me to gasp and ask him what!? but I resisted the urge to mess with his head. Yay Me.

But other than that what did I do in Sweden? Well we had loads of fun and a lot of hysteric laugh-attacks. The fair we went to was HUGE. And I mean huge, I got lost atleast three times. Yeah. At the fair we saw alot of things; chocolate and loads of it and when I say loads I mean "let's try all these free-samples until we feel like puking" loads. Bags, jewlery, some clothes, furniture, toys(!?), something that looked like horror-movie props and a whole lot more.
Then when we left the fair we headed into Stockholm and shopped and ate at this cute Chineese Resturant. the reason i use the word cute is none other than the fact that the waitor was so damn cute. "My Dear Customers...Miss, this and Miss that...". I've never gotten so good service in my life. So kudos to him.

And now...? Now I'm working again. Yay.

And this weekend we might have a Staff-Party. Be afraid...be very afraid.

Peace Out.

June begins with Patrick Jane.

June is here. Wicked strange.

Loads of work and more is to come, which is actually loads of fun if not slightly stressful.

Last night this awesome episode of the Mentalist aired. You know that brilliant show with my imaginary-husband-to-be; Patrick Jane? Yeah, that one. It was awesome.
What else? Not much really, just felt like posting something. Insert gorgeous picture of the brilliant Patrick Jane here. Did you know that Simon Baker who plays the fantastic mr Jane is in fact australian? Well if not; now you do, makes him so much more brilliant doesn't it?

Peace Out.

Giggles. Best and worst.

Whining. I'm sorry, really I am.

I think my lungs are trying to escape my ribcage through my throat and mouth. Just so they can see what the floor looks like. Selfish little buggers.

I honestly feel like I'm coughing up a lung. During the last...what...15 minutes(?) I must have had atleast 5 major cough-attacks (salutes and mutters; major cough-attacks) (I really need to tune down on the HIMYM re-runs...).

I'm whining. Man, I hate whining and yet I do it. Why? Who cares? I've been in a pissy mood all day I guess. Crap. But I'll stop poisoning the world with my negativity now.
And instead I'll give you a treat; Sean Patrick Flanery.
Old enough to be my dad? Yes.
Hotter than hell. Well, duh.
Have I watched The Boondock Saints again? Of Course.

Peace Out.

Walking is Dangerous.

So I just got home from a walk. It was nice, peaceful. It involved choppy terrain. It went something like this;

*Stubs Toe* Me(mutters): Bugger.
*Trips* Me: Damn.
Me: Crap.
Me: Ow.
Mom: What are you muttering about?
Me: Nothing...Stupid, bloody, buggering terrain.
*Walks for a while without injuring feet* Me: Hey, this is going pretty...Ow.
Me: Son of a...WHOA!

Yes. That was me, tripping. But I managed to save myself from falling headfirst into the mud. Then the terrain evened out (thank muffins). But the point in this was. Walking is fun. When the terain is even. Not that it helps me anything because I fall over air.

Thank you and Peace Out.

Feeling like a Gangster half the time and like a Doctor the other half is Awesome.

I bought a new coat on Monday and it reminds me of the coats the Saints wear in Boondock Saints. (There's a sequel too and it's awesome too). Brilliant movie, I've watched it twice already. Connor and Murphy are simply brilliant. Anyway the coat makes me feel like a gangster when I wear it. Proably because I relate it to the saints. It's awesome.

That's the Saints, obviously x). You can't really see the coats but I just had to put a picture of their awesomeness up here.

We got new coats for work too and that one makes me feel like a Doctor. So you may call me Dr. Lotta. *giggles*.
So inbetween feeling like a Doctor at work and a Gangster at my free-time what has been going on? Not much actually. The weather is brilliant right now, I feel spring coming! Yaaay. I've also begun re-vamping my Marauder fic at FF.net. The first chapters are tragic so I'm fixing them, finally.

Peace Out.

It looks nothing like the...thing...that used to occupy my head. Booyah.

Lets just see the Before and After Pics.

Okay...so I might have headbanged to Posion most radically before this shot...But it pretty much sums my annoyance with my hair up.

After.

YES, It's blue.green. YES, it's very short. And YES, it is...awesome.
And YES I am wearing my most triumphant Team Edward shirt. Boss.

And on that BOMBshell...I say, Goodbye.

I actually have a plan...

Greetings,

Saturday again. The first week of February is soon over, stranger than strange that is. When I come home from work I'm going to;
  1. Eat.
  2. Watch some movie...haven't decided which one yet...probably one I've watched a thousand times before.
  3. At some point get ready to go out (which actually takes me more than an hour just because I get distracted along the way...psyko). If I haven't dozed off and overslept. My god I feel so old typing that, seriously. No I am going out tonight but I think I'll saty silver this time. Becaue yeah it's fun to sleep over from time to time..but there's noting that beats your own bed. So we'll see...haven't decided yet.
And that's my plan for today. An actual plan. I almost never plan so this is unusual. The master plan will probaly change still though. I'm pretty certain about that. Anyways.
And on that Bombshell...(Jeremy Clarkson (really should be Prime Minister), yes I've soo been watching Top Gear way to much again)...Good Day!

Enter February...

...Sugar High, Bored to tears and with promises made to be broken. That's the right way to go about it.

Monday this week doesn't just begin a new week but a new month. Wicked? Not really. February to me has always been apretty well...boring month. It's got what, Valentines Day? A day I really don't get at all. Well sure it's great to honour romance and love and friendship and what not. But must we really endure all the pink and the hearts and the...fluffy-ness? Don't get me wrong, I am a hopeless romantic and love fluffy romance to a certain degree. Valentines just...well some people over-do it. It's nauseating.

I have felt rather...creative today. Had a day off which meant that I didn't do anything at all. Basically. I did write alot on some of my unfinished works...and the words just keeps coming. I can't seem to stop this flow of words that are bursting out of my brain down to my typing fingers and saved onto my harddrive.
For a litterature/writing-geek like me it's like having an epiphany. I can't even describe what it feels like to barely be able to think the words before they are typed down on the virtual paper.
It's like my brain and my fingers are working together in such a fast pace that the part of my brain that sometimes struggles to find words doesn't even try to keep up. It's an euphoric feeling. When I'm in one of "my moods", as my brother so dearly refeers to it as, you can barely reach me. It's like I enter a part of my mind...my soul that I don't use every day and the imagination just flows.
Basically; I enter La-La-Land, Narnia, Neverland, My own personal Haven of Wickedness without any intention of returning to the cold nice real world for a couple of hours.
With me, I bring inspirational music, any kind of sugar filled becverage I can find (=Sugar High) and with that I get lost in my own imagination. Surrounded by my other selves and characters my wicked mind has created.
I literally free fall into my own insanity. I enter a place no other person would live through visiting; The Deepest Darkest Place of my Mind. A place not even I can fully comprehend.

It's calming, relaxing to just leave reality for a couple of hours and immerse myself in my my own imagination. It's one of the greatest most soothing feelings in the world. And I don't think that just anyone can do that. Dissapear into themselves so deeply that the surrounding world doesn't exsist anymore. No longer is reality a fact or real it's a world beyond the one you have immersed yourself in. A world noone but you can enter. A world revolving around you, your thoughts, dreams and imagination. Everyone should have a place like that. their own safe haven. Their own personal Neverland.

I know I love my Neverland. I don't enter it every day...not even every week but when I do. Don't expect me to re-appear in the "real-world" for a while.
But one must be careful. Immerse yourself in your own world for too long and you might get stuck there. Stuck in a alternate-reality that may seem like heaven at first, but stay there for too long and it might turn into your very own personal hell. Your imagination is a powerful thing, some people have a stronger one then others. If this is good or bad I think I'll leave to Freud and his minions to figure out.

I read somewhere that the first sign of madness is talking to yourself. But I say that everyone has a healthy portion of insanity  tucked somewhere inside them, some just show it more then others.
I've never claimed to be sane or normal, and I probably never will. But like I said; it's healthy to be slightly insane. Striving to be normal might just reduce you into some sort of non-healthy state of mind. ...
I am very content in my own insane state of mind.

And on that note I leave you to once again enter my own Neverland; where anything can happen and just like Peter Pan and The Lost Boys...you don't have to grow up or think about grown-up things if even...just for a little while.

The Imaginarium...and Crushes.

So I went and saw The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus last night. I barely have the words to describe the magnificence of it. It was beautifully made, the story wonderful and the cast brilliant.
I had my worries, I'll admit that. Because I wanted Heath's last movie to be most triumphant and I worried that it wouldn't...I mean Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell?! Add Christopher Plummer and Verne Troyer to that and you have a starstudded cast. But so many movies with casts like that have failed miserably.
I shouldn't have been worried. It was amazing. One of the greatest movies I have seen. Heath was brilliant, he sure went out with a bang. And I didn't see the ending coming or the way the characters turned out. Wauw. I think that sums it up; wauw.

But the movie also made me want to cry. Because it was surreal to think that this was Heath Ledger's last work. Sure I can watch his movies over and over again but I'll never see anything new from him, ever. It's sad. And I know I didn't know the guy. He was just an actor. There's no such thing as just an actor. A really good one somehow manages to weasel themselves into your heart with their amazing performances. They portray these unforgettable characters so good that you'll never forget them. Or at least not the characters.

To me, Heath was one of them. Heath Ledger was my first movie crush, that I remember. Or well his character was; William from A Knight's Tale.
I was eleven and I saw the movie at school and thought; man that guy is cute. I remember daydreaming about my knight in shining armor. Of course the knight resembled Heath or William as I called him as in my head. Becasue that was before I cared or thought about who played who and what. The only thing that mattered was the character. I dreamt that he would come and take me away on his great white horse.
Soon though the knight on a beautiful white horse changed. His hair grew, darkened and was styled in a messy fashion. His armor suddenly dissapeared and instead he donned a leather jacket, ripped jeans and a pair of motorcycle boots. His brilliant white smile and charming ways turned into a vicious and sexy sneer/smirk but the charm was there still albeit hidden behind a veil of "I couldn't care less attitude". I grew up and fell out of my little crush on a Knight and walked right into Sid Vicious waiting arms. Or any bloke that resembled Sid in style and attitude. Punk rock echoed in my room and the white horse that was supposed to take me away? It was still there...only now it was a beautiful, most triumphant black motorcycle.

But even if that changed my interest in movies and acting didn't. And Heath still was...still is one of my favorite actors. I don't know for sure, does anyone?, if his death was an accident. But I refuse to believe anything else. Because I don't think he would do that...kill himself...(Just as I believe that Sid didn't kill Nancy) Tell me I'm in denial that I'm silly for actually crying when I found out he died. Do it and see if I give a damn. A hint; I don't.

Last night...watching the credits...no...that's a lie....watching Heath first appear on screen made me want to cry. As the credits rolled a small tear did slip. Because this was his last work. My old, first movie crush. One of my favorite actors. One talented man. No more. Surreal. Strange. As I type...trying to describe this feeling...I realize I can't. There's no words for it.

I always have been and probably always will be fascinated with movies. I've always loved watching them. And I'm the one that lives in the movie while it's playing (if it's good). I'm the one who feels for the characters no matter who portrays them. Afterwards I can talk and discuss about who portrayed who and what and how. But right when I watch it...all I see is the story, the characters...Simple as that.
You may think I'm crazy, don't worry so do I. But that's the way I feel...the way I think.

All in all The Imaginarium was brilliant. It opened up my eyes in way I can't describe. And it made me realize what a huge loss Heath Ledger truly was....is. That...and I'm sure as hell going to miss that guy. He is after all...my very first movie crush.

“I only do this because I'm having fun. The day I stop having fun, I'll just walk away.”
-Heath Ledger-
“I'm not good at future planning. I don't plan at all.
I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow. I don't have a day planner and I don't have a diary.
I completely live in the now, not in the past, not in the future.”
-Heath Ledger-
