It's getting warmer! So Long -20 and hello -3! I know I know, it's not exactly tropical but it's a start, right? For the first time in weeks I can wear a skirt! Yaay.
I can't believe I'm this excited...just because it's warm enough to wear a skirt. I'm an idiot. I just can't wait until I'm able to wear my leather jacket again, and dresses and skrirts without freezing my ass of.
I watched Dirty Dancing today, one of the greatest movies of all time. This is one of my favorite scene's. Couldn't find one that was allowed to embed, so that'll have to do.
Here have this epic picture instead!
Slightly strange, if not neurotic, poetic perhaps even Intelligent thoughts and scribblings. Almost like Shakespeare. Or Not.

Day 7: Favorite Movie
Oh Boy.
The fact that I love movies is by no means a secret. So how can I choose one? Well, I really can't because I have so many favourite movies that I'd be here for days if I even tried to write about all of them. And that is sadly not an overstatement.
So what movie did I choose after alot of thinking.
I want to say I chose a really cool cult movie like Donnie Darko, but I didnt.
I want to say that I chose Trainspotting, because it's psycological and really strange and weird, but I didn't.
I didn't even choose a movie starring Johnny Depp. Surprising, I know.
No I chose a movie that I will never tire of watching, no matter how many times I've seen it.
I chose...Rob Reiner's Stand by Me.
This is what I wrote about it on Flixster;
(First Lines) " I was 12 going on 13 the first time I saw a dead human being. It happened in the summer of 1959 - a long time ago, but only if you measure in terms of years. I was living in a small town in Oregon called Castle Rock; there were only twelve hundred and eighty-one people, but to me it was the whole world."
The movie is about a man who after finding out about his friends tradgic death writes down their story. A story about the best summer they ever had together. The summer the four best friends, Gordie(The writer), Chris,Teddy and Vern set out to find the corpse of a boy that has gone missing. We follow them through their journey and watch the adventure of their lives...well, any 12 year old going on 13 would think of it as an adventure... I love this movie. It's a cute movie about friendship. The boys are over-dramatic and funny...and you just cant help but laugh with them...and feel sorry for them. And the Cobras...those guys should have their own movie x) I love Ace and Eyeball... It's a very simple movie...but it is truly amazing. Definitley worth watching...
"I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?"
I love this movie. And I will never stop loving it and I've seen it too many times to count.

December = The Month of Gift Giving.
True, right? But December is also the month of; I'm-Freaking-Out-Because-I-Don't-Know-What-To-Get-Anybody.
Giving gifts, is fun. I like it alot but there one huge problem. My imagination may be absolutley brilliant when it comes to writing fictional stories or weird names for titles to my blog posts but when it comes to presents...Well, that talented mind seems to dissapear and all that is left is a bunch of confused neanderthal noises like; Uuuh, uugh, baaah...and the ultimate line; I dunno.
Each year I stand at the shops looking at the shelves confused. Because I have no idea of what to get anybody. So eventually I grap something crappy that I am not at all saticfied with at the last freaking minute. You know that present that makes you want to cringe as you see the person in question unwrapping the paper. Yeah, that gift.
But this year is going to be different. I've promised myself that much. Because this year I'm going to start relatively early with the gift-shopping. This weekend, the S.A.* and I are going Christmas Shopping. And I've made a promise to myself to atleast try and get all the gifts done on Saturday. I sure hope I'll succeed. I actually have two done already, I feel proud.
I'm also going to try and not end up looking like that or freaking out and bursting into tears of frustration. Bloody Hell. Speaking of that cuss in praticular, I saw HP 7 Part One last night. Honestly? Alot better than I thought it would be. The world sure is full of surprises.
Over and Out.
*I guess I should stop calling him "The S.A." because he isn't exactly secret anymore is he...I'll think about it.

Halloween 2010.
So Halloween was awesome. Me and V went and saw Paranormal Activity 2, it was so freaking scary! I was seriously shaking so hard after watching that. Spooky.
Then we went out to the Monkey where we met several friends whom I haven't seen in ages and nice new people too. The highlight though was getting our picture taken with two dudes, one dressed as Freddy Kreuger and the other one as Beetlejuice!! Me and V beeing total movie-freaks were extatic. It was just pure awesomeness.
Got home just hours ago, went in-->ate food--->showered and then I headed back out again. Yeah, even if I'm so gigglish and just freakishly tired and slightly, but just slightly *wink* hungover, I went out for coffee with The S.A.. How could I not?
Anyway...now I'm going to park myself in front of the telly.
Over and Out.

Not so much Sex In something remotely like The City.
So I went and saw the new Sex and the City movie last night with V.And, um, well what can I say? I didn't think the first one was very good and the second one was no better. Honestly it was rather dull. There were parts when nothing, and I mean nothing whatsoever, happened.
The clothes were...ugh...less than satisfactionary. I mean, seriously half the time SJP was dressed in something alien-like. Where was the brilliant fashion from the series? I do admit that Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis did look fabulous at times, and sometimes not so much. But they really only managed to put SJP in something good like...1 or 2 times!?
Aidan. The reason I wanted to see the movie. I had such a crush on Aidan, way back when, and wanted Carrie to end up with him. He still looked good- But since when did he become so sleazy(peronality wise)? So that was a bittersweet moment for me.
It had it's funny moments but sadly I think it didn't have the same aura as the series did. I missed it. Let's just hope this was the last SatC movie.
OH! and one more thing that just can not go unmentioned. Rikard Spirit, the danish.. um... whatever, businessman? Anyway, he was kinda...yeah...and he sounded Australian! I just couldn't get over that, apparently Max Ryan who plays him is British with and irish/polish decent. Still doesn't explain the accent though...oh well.

Alex&Emma, as seen by a Dork.
I watched Alex and Emma today. I've seen it before and I had honestly forgotten how...well lame it is. I kind of like some parts of it and the fact that it's about a writer but other then that. Nothing.
Alex&Emma 2003
Director: Rob Reiner, really? Dude, he's made awesomeness like Stand By Me and When Harry Met Sally, what happened?
Starring: Kate Hudson, Luke Wilson
Plot: Alex ows a couple of lone sharks alot of money. And the only way to pay his devt is to finish his new book, in 30 days. The bad thing is he has writersblock and if he doesn't get the money in time, he'll end up dead.
So Alex hires Emma, a stenographer, to whom he dictates his whole story revolving around lovetriangles and money. But Emma has her opinions about, well everything. Soon real life starts to imitate fiction and they begin a strange relationship.
Opinion: Well. It's cute. But predictable and not really as funny as it could have been. Like I said the only thing that really appealed to me was the facts that it was about a writer.
And I was sorely dissapointed because Rob Reiner ususally creates brilliance, this was sadly not that. Although I do like some of the lines and parts in the story. Like when Alex tells Emma that sometimes the characters runs away with the story. And the writer him/herself doesn't really know how it happened. Because that's true.
Either way, the movie is cute, watchable but not brilliant by any means.
Meh, I give it 2&½ Stars.
Peace Out.
Alex&Emma 2003
Emma: What's your book about?
Alex:It's the story of a man who's frightened of commitment yet so desperately in love with a woman he's afraid it might kill him. It's a comedy.
Starring: Kate Hudson, Luke Wilson

Dead Poets...
...Society is one of the greatest movies ever made. I hereby warn you for some up-coming gushing.
One. It made my cry like a baby. I had forgotten how sad it was. But it was simply brilliant. Poetry, great story great actors and characters.
Two. Yet another fictional character has stolen my heart. Sigh, yeah, here we go again. Charlie "Nuwanda" Dalton. Yeah, I fell for a dude who named himseld Nuwanda. Why? He's crazy, absolutley adorable, recites poetry, has the most wonderful eyes, plays the sax and his smirk makes my knees wobbly. So here's to my new Fictional crush. Nuwanda, I totally love you right now. Just look at him...sigh.
Buut...enough gushing.
Peace Out!

Sherlock Holmes.
So I just watched Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. And it was brilliant. The dialouge, the cast and the way it was shot was great. the plot could have been better but all in all better then I expected.
The interaction between Downey and Law was a joy to watch and the pair basically made the whole movie in my opinion. (Read my full review here.)
One thing that I instantly fell for was the muddy-brown tones the whole movie was set in and the costumes. Oh the costumes were brilliant. I want Holmes and Watsons hats and coats! I thought that the stylist had really done a great job with the costumes, they were pure awesomeness. Just look at these;
A little collage I made to honour the most tubular outfits and characters. Am I really the only one who want's those coats and hats? Do tell me if I am. And yes I do know that these are mens clothing. Who Cares? They look wicked handsome to me and I wouldnt mind wearing them...or something similar with a feminine touch. Savvy?

The Imaginarium...and Crushes.
So I went and saw The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus last night. I barely have the words to describe the magnificence of it. It was beautifully made, the story wonderful and the cast brilliant.
I had my worries, I'll admit that. Because I wanted Heath's last movie to be most triumphant and I worried that it wouldn't...I mean Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell?! Add Christopher Plummer and Verne Troyer to that and you have a starstudded cast. But so many movies with casts like that have failed miserably.
I shouldn't have been worried. It was amazing. One of the greatest movies I have seen. Heath was brilliant, he sure went out with a bang. And I didn't see the ending coming or the way the characters turned out. Wauw. I think that sums it up; wauw.
But the movie also made me want to cry. Because it was surreal to think that this was Heath Ledger's last work. Sure I can watch his movies over and over again but I'll never see anything new from him, ever. It's sad. And I know I didn't know the guy. He was just an actor. There's no such thing as just an actor. A really good one somehow manages to weasel themselves into your heart with their amazing performances. They portray these unforgettable characters so good that you'll never forget them. Or at least not the characters.
To me, Heath was one of them. Heath Ledger was my first movie crush, that I remember. Or well his character was; William from A Knight's Tale.
I was eleven and I saw the movie at school and thought; man that guy is cute. I remember daydreaming about my knight in shining armor. Of course the knight resembled Heath or William as I called him as in my head. Becasue that was before I cared or thought about who played who and what. The only thing that mattered was the character. I dreamt that he would come and take me away on his great white horse.
Soon though the knight on a beautiful white horse changed. His hair grew, darkened and was styled in a messy fashion. His armor suddenly dissapeared and instead he donned a leather jacket, ripped jeans and a pair of motorcycle boots. His brilliant white smile and charming ways turned into a vicious and sexy sneer/smirk but the charm was there still albeit hidden behind a veil of "I couldn't care less attitude". I grew up and fell out of my little crush on a Knight and walked right into Sid Vicious waiting arms. Or any bloke that resembled Sid in style and attitude. Punk rock echoed in my room and the white horse that was supposed to take me away? It was still there...only now it was a beautiful, most triumphant black motorcycle.
But even if that changed my interest in movies and acting didn't. And Heathstill was...still is one of my favorite actors. I don't know for sure, does anyone?, if his death was an accident. But I refuse to believe anything else. Because I don't think he would do that...kill himself...(Just as I believe that Sid didn't kill Nancy) Tell me I'm in denial that I'm silly for actually crying when I found out he died. Do it and see if I give a damn. A hint; I don't.
Last night...watching the credits...no...that's a lie....watching Heath first appear on screen made me want to cry. As the credits rolled a small tear did slip. Because this was his last work. My old, first movie crush. One of my favorite actors. One talented man. No more. Surreal. Strange. As I type...trying to describe this feeling...I realize I can't. There's no words for it.
I always have been and probably always will be fascinated with movies. I've always loved watching them. And I'm the one that lives in the movie while it's playing (if it's good). I'm the one who feels for the characters no matter who portrays them. Afterwards I can talk and discuss about who portrayed who and what and how. But right when I watch it...all I see is the story, the characters...Simple as that.
You may think I'm crazy, don't worry so do I. But that's the way I feel...the way I think.
All in all The Imaginarium was brilliant. It opened up my eyes in way I can't describe. And it made me realize what a huge loss Heath Ledger truly was....is. That...and I'm sure as hell going to miss that guy. He is after all...my very first movie crush.

Ramblings of Mr.Darcy, John Mayer and Laziness
I've been absent from the Blog-verse again, haven't I? Um...Ooops?
No, seriously I haven't really had anything to write about and I've been busy...sort of. If you can call reading/watching Pride and Prejudice and having Mr. Darcy on my mind 24/7 busy. Joking.
I've been cleaning the house...my younger brother...lets call him Dweeb1#...turns...what 17(?) tomorrow(Yes sad bu true, I had to actually think about how old my brother is...things like age seem irrelevent to me and often slip my mind...sue me.). So the house had to be cleaned.
Last weekend I went with V to see New Moon. It was...okay. Considering the fact that the book was rather boring so how could the movie be anything but? Taylor Lautner made the movie a nudge better though(hello, he was shirtless like...practically the whole movie). To bad he's the same age as my brother...sigh.
I'm at work now...being awfully sneaky and updating...hehe...Joking, again. My last client left like...half an hour ago and I can't make myself do..well...anything. I know, I'm so "the F-word" lazy. (I'm trying to stop cussing)(It's not going so well).
On another note...John Mayer is a genius. He's like...amazing. I've been listening to his music continuously this past week and I am amazed. His voice literally gives me goosebumps. I don't think I'll ever tire of listening to all his songs. Amazing sound and lyrics.
Well..I think I should do something productive for once.
Over and Out.
This song is amazing. I love the original by Tom Petty...but there's just something about John's version. Totally Gnarlatious Dudes...

Day 26 in which I beg for forgiveness...
I have been absent from the Blog-verse for a very (times eternity) long time now. Why, might be the proper question to ask. And I am sad to say that I don't really have a proper answer. I could blame it on work, I could blame it on my lack of interesting things to write about or I could tell you the truth. I have been lazy. I have logged onto blogger severeal times and have not managed to write anything. Dumbass.
So what has happened in my lack of blogging period...That didn't make any sense but please bear with me. Not much of interest actually. I have worked, thought about life and planning the upcoming wedding between Patrick Jane and myself. It is going very well, thanks for asking ( I am just going to assume that you were all asking me about that. Because we all know that you are dying to know about the wedding...sincerely.). Well I have found a Dress and it is damn beautiful. Honestly. While browsing the Wedding Verse on the Web I also found this really cool CAKE. Ireally like love cake. Well...not cream cake...but this one seems really nice.
I also realized one thing...and lets not tell my future-husband-to-be this, Savvy? I might have an itsy bitsy tiny huge crush on one...Ben Barnes...I watched The Chronicles of Narnia; Prince Caspian (I KNOW! But come on I saw the first one...it was pretty cool so I had to see the sequel right?) (And by the by mr Barnes is on the cover...that alone was a reason to see it) and I instantly drooled over the prince of Narnia...Or rather the guy portraying him. One...Ben Barnes. One word mates. Gorgeous. Absolutely Drop Dead Gorgeous.
Am I righ or am I right?
And if the man looks like this when serious...just wait until he smiles....It was the smile that got me. Sincerely. It had me all wobbly kneed and googley-eyed(?).
My God. It's the eyes I tell you...Lets just not utter a word of this to Patrick...hehehe...right? *silence*....Right???!!!

The End of an Most Awesome Adventure...
I finished my first fanfic ever. It was sad and yet so revieling. Because I started it years ago and just now was I able to finish it. It wasn't fun to write it anymore, or well not as fun as it was when I began writing it. But now it's over and done with and I hope people were satisfied with the unplanned and totally strange ending. Yeah. Check out my works if you are interested.
And now the SECOND Bill and Ted movie trailer. Bill and Teds Bogus Journey. I'm so faschinated by theese. Do notice Bill's (Alex Winter) hilarious outburst of: "What?". Awesomeness.

Most Awesome.
Today I didn't do that much, was at work and visited my cousin who turned 13 today. Happy Birthday J!
Yesterday I stumbled upon this most awesome trailer on Youtube. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure! I have to see this movie and its sequel! Starring Alex Winter(Marko from the Lost Boys...AAAH!!) and Keanu Reeves it seems hilarious and most awesome. Filled with dorky jokes and 80's slang...Oh yay!
I have to see this one...I laughed so much that I actually cried.

Dork Much?
Heeey...
I have been so lazy busy that I sort of forgot to blog. The Autumn Market(??) has come and gone. I was there, selling stuff and then waisting money on stuff. Like a totally awesome RAMONES hoodie and 2 Nirvana and Motley Crue t-shirts...yaay me. It was pretty much the same as every single freaking year. Mmmhmm. I bought (and ate) way too much candy and wandered around. And sort of gently forced my brother to ride the "Twister" (not that they complained) so I could watch the hot guys that were running it. Dork? Yeah, pretty much. I was tired and annoyed (I wanted to hit people for just walking slow) so I needed something nice to look at...Sue Me.
Spent the weekend celebrating my friends birthday in Turku, fun(ness?). I was the SD (Sober Driver) so yeah I'm holding up on the "healthier life" thing...almost.Yes I have sinned. Please don't hit me in the head with neon green thunderbolts(hides and ducks under the table(insert raised eyebrows here)). I drunk ED. Yes I had a relapse...Mineral Water(Don't get it? Thought not...read this...It will all be much clearer...I think) I'm sooo sorry for cheating on you with ED. The bastard seduced me (kinda like Warren Peace did in a Fanfic I just read...STOP THINKING BRAIN! FOCUS!)(but seriously how can you not drool over that guy...even if Sky High is a lame-ass movie)(yes I said ass...sue me.). I couldn't help myself. My BFF (Oh god...I did not just type that...can someone please smack me?)had bought theese tiny little ED cans that were soo adorable that you just couldn't resist them. And I'm weak. And damn did it taste good...but that was the last of it! Honest...
Well I sort of just realized that the clock struck midnight...spooky? So I'm gonna hit the sack. Yeah.
Over and Out.
I have been so

...
Enter a dark room. A bright light appears. The single resident in the room sheilds her eyes and blinks.
*Bloody hell...did we have to use the brightest light you could find?* mumbles are heard, someone who isn't visible is talking quietly.
*What do you mean headlights were the only thing you could find? Oh...bollocks...forget it* turns toward you (reader...durf?).Greetings. This week talented actor Patric Swayze died. I know I'm like a billion lightyears behind and everything but I haven't had the time to write(Sue Me). How crazy is that? I just wan't to pop in Dirty Dancing in the DVD (if I actually owned it...must buy) and watch it over and over again...I did watch Ghost though. Brilliance.
I didn't cry. I felt weird and sad...and I admit I got a bit teary eyed. I didn't actually cry like when Heath Ledger died though. Yeah.
So a salute to you Patric Swayze! We'll always remember you as the guy who taught us that it was not alright...to put Baby in a corner.
Now I've had the time of my life
No I never felt like this before
Yes I swear it's the truth
and I owe it all to you

525,600 Minutes...
In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee.
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife. In 525,600 minutes -
how do you measure a year in the life?
-Rent-
There are 525,600 minutes in a year, according to this song sung in the Musical RENT (awesomeness). Think about it. That's alot.
I am not one of those people who has to be surrounded by others all the time. I know some people that are like that. They literally has to surround themselves with people all the time. Don't they ever want to be alone, I ask myself?
Because I am one of those people, you know the ones that actually enjoy beeing alone from time to time. It's not that I don't love my friends and family and enjoy spending time with them, believe me I do. But there is no way that I could spend every minute, of every hour, of every day with them.
I need my alone time or I will go bonkers and possibly kill someone. (Joking, I soo would not kill someone...maybe hit them a little). Well maybe not kill...I'm really a none violent person, well it's not like I never use violence but...never mind.
Back to the actual topic. Being alone. I enjoy just being by myself, beeing able to gather my thoughts and just do things for me. With only myself as company, and believe me that is enough, sometimes.
Reading, Writing...dancing around your room like a total idiot is something best done in solitude.
I don't understand how someone could be
Just imagine never beeing alone for a whole year. That is(approx); 12 months, 52 weeks, 563 days, 8,760 hours and 525,600 minutes of being amongst people, even if they were your best friend, husband/wife or mother/father...it would make you go insane, wouldn't it? I surely would be in some sort of hell.
Yeah...And this I thought of from watching RENT for the 525,600th time (almost). I do love that movie...And I bawl every time I see it. Sincerely, doesn't matter how many times I watch it...I still bawl. Sigh.

Eggs??
Have you ever had that strange feeling that all the information and ideas in your so called brain is just floating through your body and down to your fingertips as they type away? That's how I feel when I'm in a "mood" and is typing like crazy. When it comes to Fanfiction, I have loads of ideas but only sometimes feel like typing them down. Otherwise I just let them float around in my head, totally useless. Dissapointing and annoying.
I'm going to invent an machine that takes the thoughts from my head and types them as I think them. Amazing, eh? Or maybe I'll just hire some brilliant dude to do it...I think the risk of theworld going under idea failing is less possible to happen then. My belief in myself is great, isn't it?
M: We needed the eggs...

Well yeah, I cleaned my room today. Totally uninteresting fact, I know. But I felt like mentioning it...Deal with it.
A worried mother enters the Doctor's office.
M:My son thinks he's a chicken!
D:And for how long has this been going on?
M:Um...About six months now.
D (in a surprised voice): Then why on earth haven't you come sooner?!M: We needed the eggs...
What? We needed the eggs?? I don't get it. Okay I admit I laughed like a hyena when I read it (In my defence I was sleep-deprived and hungry) at first but then I decided to stop (...and become awesome instead-Barney; How I Met Your Mother. Classic!) and think about it. And I didn't get it...at all. It's not even funny..just confusing...and still I laughed. I am such a Dork. Sincerely.
After that I started picturing a chicken in shorts and a T-shirt...then I decided to eat something and go to sleep. The best(est) idea I ever had...

^^
Greetings.
I've been thinking, never a good sign I know. Believe me I know. But as I was saying...I think I want to re-design my Blog. Again. Why? Dunno...I'm bored I guess.
I haven't been posting enough, and I apoligize, to the imaginary Readers. Yes I don't think too many people are actually reading theese annoying little rants...that's not even interesting just me venting. I guess. Oh well.
I watched Pride and Prejudice awhile ago. Yes, I know...I can't believe it took me this long! But I've read the book, I'm thinking I should read it again. You see...I didn't really connect with me. Not when I read it, I liked some parts but otheres were...to be brutally honest; Boring. But I did fall inlove with Mr. Darcy, without seeing the movie first, doing so made me like him even more. It can't be healthy to have cryshes on theese...fictional characters. It just can't! And I have a frigging list of them....a LONG one. It's practically endless...sad but true. Oh well.
