I have this strange want to go out and party again. I say strange because I've been doing so for the last couple of weekends. How come I'm not tired of it yet? Anyway here's three songs that make me want to dance and well the first one is soo last year but I found it hidden on my computer and fell inlove with it all over again. It's just so fitting right now, is' all. ;)
Total awesomeness. And now two songs that make me wanna dance!
Slightly strange, if not neurotic, poetic perhaps even Intelligent thoughts and scribblings. Almost like Shakespeare. Or Not.

Peacock.
I found this on the YouTube looking for Katy Perry's Music Video for this song, but I couldn't find it. Probably hasn't been made yet, bummer.
But this. This is a must see and it's awesome.
Ryan James Yezak is brilliant and I think you should Check Out his other videos and his Vlog as well. Very talented young man he is. And he's funny, just watch his Vlog and you'll see what I mean.
Not only is this video starring one of my favourite "Feel Good" songs right now it is also kind of supporting Gay Rights. Brilliant.

Day 26: Your Dream Wedding
I have this strange feeling that basically every girl has atleast once thought about their Wedding and what it would be like. I'm not going to lie, I have too. And I'm not even sure if I want to get married!
I don't want a traditional Wedding, I kinda always wanted to get married on the Beach. I'm not even sure why that is but it's just something that I think would be awesome.
I don't think that I want a big thing, just this simple and intimate cermony. Just really close family and friends, noting big and extravagant. I've never been one for the "Princess-Glamour-Weddings". I like simple things.
But most of all I want the Wedding to represent us. Not some fake thing, just simple, loving and true.
Then there's the fact that the Wedding March kind of freaks me out. I just don't like it. So instead I would like to walk down that isle with Aerosmith's I Don't Want To Miss a Thing. Corny? Very much so, but the rocker-chick in me tells me that it's right and I love that song.
And what about that one special dance? Aerosmith again actually; Deuces Are Wild. Beautiful, I love it and it's just so brilliant.
That would be my dream wedding.

Day 16: Dream house.
I have a friend who has her whole house planned out. Like, every single detail.
I'm not like that. But yes I have imagined what my house will look like in the future. I know what I want and I'm kindof anal about some things.
But it's not really about the stuff in the house. My biggest plan for my future house is that I want it to reflect me and any other person that will possibly live there. I want people to know instantly that I'm the one who lives there. I want it to feel like home.
I'm into modern design though, but that feels really cold sometimes so I want to mix it up with a bohemian feel to it. I found some pictures that appeal to me.
It's the wallpaper. The colors. The way the furniture is put together, Different stuff.

The Cleverness of Winnie the Pooh.
No, I haven't lost my marbles. I was looking up different quotes and found a bunch said by none other than Winnie the Pooh. That bear we all loved to hate at one point of our life. I liked the books when I was a kid, then I outgrew them. But now, reading some parts of it makes me realize how clever that honey-addict of a bear truly is.
The small comments that we laughed at and thought were hilarious as kids, still are but now we actually understand the pretty insightful meaning behind those words.
Here are some of my personal favourites, both funny ones, and very clever ones.
You just gotta love that bear.

“People who don't Think probably don't have Brains; rather, they have grey fluff that's blown into their heads by mistake.”
“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?”
“You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
“If the person you are talking to doesn't appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear.”
“When late morning rolls around and you're feeling a bit out of sorts, don't worry; you're probably just a little eleven o'clockish.”
“Before beginning a Hunt, it is wise to ask someone what you are looking for before you begin looking for it.”
“I am a Bear of Very Little Brain, and long words bother me.”

Romance.
I honestly thought Romance was dead. Something that only exsisted in movies, books and little girls' day dreams.
People just don't do romance anymore. Romance today is when a guy buys you a drink at the bar and later tries to touch the boobs he's been staring at all night. Or on the odd occasion remembers to hold the door open and not slam it in your face. Or so I thought.
Many months ago I did have a thing with a guy who said he was a romantic. Saying something and actually being it is two entirely different things. Yes, he could talk the talk but you didn't quite believe it thanks to the somewhat sleazy tone or double meanings. Sure he held up doors and was quite the gentleman, but he was also a rather sleazy player-ish type and a romantic he was not. So my poor hopeless romantic brain once again thought; Romance never entered the 21st century. I was wrong.
This weekend, no these past weeks, has changed my mindset drastically. It all began with that Letter I rambled about a few weeks ago. But this weekend took it to a totally different level.
It was homecooked food, candles, the whole shebang* and just so romantic that I honestly thought I would cry. It was like taken from one of my romance-novels-that-I'm-embarressed-to-say-I-actually-own!
So I have been proven wrong countless of times these past weeks, and happily so.
And I can only come to one conclusion; Romance is not Dead.
*(I also said that I would never, ever be one of those gushy types. That just smiles, and giggles and gushes about everything no matter how sweet it is. Because I am rather cynical, even though there is a hopeless romantic living inside of me. Well the romantic side has officially kicked the cynic in the butt and is now ruling my brain. Oh someone please help me? Anyway, the point was that I aplogize for my overly-gushy posts lately and for those that are bound to show up here later. Because we all know that I won't be able to restrain myself. Sorry.)

Halloween 2010.
So Halloween was awesome. Me and V went and saw Paranormal Activity 2, it was so freaking scary! I was seriously shaking so hard after watching that. Spooky.
Then we went out to the Monkey where we met several friends whom I haven't seen in ages and nice new people too. The highlight though was getting our picture taken with two dudes, one dressed as Freddy Kreuger and the other one as Beetlejuice!! Me and V beeing total movie-freaks were extatic. It was just pure awesomeness.
Got home just hours ago, went in-->ate food--->showered and then I headed back out again. Yeah, even if I'm so gigglish and just freakishly tired and slightly, but just slightly *wink* hungover, I went out for coffee with The S.A.. How could I not?
Anyway...now I'm going to park myself in front of the telly.
Over and Out.

A Strangely Awake and Cheery Monday Morning.
I'm surprising myself with even bothering to enter my blog in the morning. Even more surprising is that I'm actually typing something down.
Sunday was spent with one of my wonderful friends, going for coffee and just cruising around towns talking. Then we sat at her place watching Sex and the City on DVD. Can a Sunday get any better?
Today is Monday. Ew. But it's actually not that bad today for some reason. I'm actually rather awake, I'm not that grumpy and I actually feel good. Weird times eternity. So in a few minutes I'm off to work....So I think I'll leave with this. Oh, and another video. I'm obsessed.
It's a swedish song; Från och med Du with an artist named Oskar Linnroos. It's just something about this song that I love.

Bad Things.
I just had to. I'm reading the True Blood books right now. And the TV-series are...well awesome. Twilight is ok but it's so refreshing to see real non-sparkling vampires for once. And the theme-song is so great. Jace Everett's voice gives me the chills and suits the sexiness of the series perfectly, don't you think?

Katy Perry is Pretty Wicked.
So I'm sitting here listening to Katy Perry of all things. And I've come to realize that I actually like her music. And not only that her whole style. She is pretty cool. And she's marrying Russell Brand of all people, a man I find extremely funny and wicked.
She is pretty beautiful, isn't she? And I just adore her style, am I the only one?
And now a song from her new album; Teenage Dream. I just love this song.

Thoughts on Interior Design.
Earlier today I found myself leafing through Jeanne D' Arc Living, an interior magazine. It had alot of nice ideas, and I've always enjoyed getting design ideas. Now especially since the aspect of getting a place of my own actually seems to be getting closer.
The problem with JDAL is that it was alot of classic stuff, lots of white. While it is nice, it's just that...it's just nice. Not fantasitc, awesome or even brilliant...just nice. I'm more into modern designs or retro (the colors mostly)...some bohemian designs strikes my fancy as well. So a pretty strange mix of all that would be my ideal living-area. Awesomeness.
I seriously can't wait until I find an apartment, just so I can decorate it. I'm insane, aren't I?
Lotta Out.
And now some pictures that I found on the inter-web. Aren't they just fabulous?

Nostalgia.
I'm sitting with my newly painted yellow (awesome) nails and listening to old, kinda shitty music that I used to listen to when I was 12-approx 14. Yeah. THAT kind of music.
Anyone remember Rednex, Hanson, Lou Bega, DJ Ötzi, Eiffel 65? Vengaboys anyone? Joakim Hilson, Jimmy Jansson basically any swedish popartist you can think of? Yeah, I know.
Anyway, just to lift everyones spirits...and to have a huge big laugh, one of the biggest hits when I was about...11(!?).
You're Welcome, No Need To Thank Me.
Seriously, Don't.
Damn I couldn't find the actual Music Video. But anyway and just a treat to all girls that were fawning, because I know we all were, over Hanson♥ once upon a time.

June begins with Patrick Jane.
June is here. Wicked strange.
Loads of work and more is to come, which is actually loads of fun if not slightly stressful.
Last night this awesome episode of the Mentalist aired. You know that brilliant show with my imaginary-husband-to-be; Patrick Jane? Yeah, that one. It was awesome.
What else? Not much really, just felt like posting something. Insert gorgeous picture of the brilliant Patrick Jane here. Did you know that Simon Baker who plays the fantastic mr Jane is in fact australian? Well if not; now you do, makes him so much more brilliant doesn't it?
Peace Out.

End of May.
It is now the last day of May. Weird, is it not? I can't even seem to figure out when May started! Right now I'm watching Scrubs. It's one of the episodes with Carlas brother Marco. He rocks by the by. He makes me laugh, alot. Soon How I Met Your Mother will be on, yaay. Man I'm obsessed.
I've been listening to Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphy's alot lately. I don't really know what it is about those two bands. Maybe it's the irish accents and influences. Maybe it's the punk-ish music. Either way I love it.
One of my favorite songs is; Selfish Man, so that's why I've decided to post it here. Enjoy.

Stand and Deliver.
Adam and the Ants. Absolutely strange, hilarious, odd and awesome. I am in-love with this band right now and I love their unique (totally 80's) look.
This song especially does remind my of PIL (Public Image Limited), John Lydon's band that he had after the Sex Pistols. Anyway, the point is that this is pure brilliance, I just had to post it.
And seriously how can you not adore that look? And that stare...Adam Ant was and still is wicked awesome. Sincerely.
Peace Out.

I'm going Bohemian on Myself.
A couple of years ago (meaning more than 2 years ago) I would have considered myself a wannabe-poser-punk. Complete with the ripped jeans, security pin in ear, a fo-hawk and lips set in a sneer.
If someone would have approached me and talked about Karma for example I probably would have; scoffed, sneered and muttered something about; F-ing cunt. Do I look like I give a fuck about sodding karma? Sod off! ANARCHY!
...Okay so maybe I wouldn't have, but I would definitley have thought it, sneered and said sod off.
I wasn't a real punk. Because I know, I even knew this then, that punk is so much more than the look. It's a lifestyle. But the whole idea of punk appealed to me right then. I had a very cynical outlook on life(some of it is still left), but really what 16 year old doesn't? It was fuck the goverment, fuck this shitty music, fuck everyone, fuck the world! Everything sucks and they're just trying to push us down, ANARCHY! The whole violent rebellion fase, albeit in a calmer way.
I still listen to punk-rock, John Lydon is, after all, God and you're not. I'm never throwing away my ripped jeans. But the fo-hawk and the lack of faith in humanity just had to go.
In my line of work you stumble upon alot of different outlooks on life. And special treatments such as zone-therapy, light therapy and that kind of New Age-y stuff is something you can't avoid.
If you asked me about that when I was 16 I would have laughed you in the face and said; Bollocks! Now? I'm not so sure. Karma, Zen, Feng Shui etc. everything has become very interesting to me. I've started to believe in things like that, something that 16 year old me would tease me forever for. But when experience life your views change.
Wikipedia tells me that Bohemianism is; Bohemianism is the practice of an unconventional lifestyle, often in the company of like-minded people, involving musical, artistic or literary pursuits, with few permanent ties. Bohemians can be wanderers, adventurers, or vagabonds.
While the Urban Dictionary says; a Bohemian is somebody who leads an alternative lifestyle, they are not hippies because they can have an extremly wide range of different tastes in music, fashion, art, literature etc they are usually very creative people. they are above all optimists, even if they can be very cynical too(it does make sense...sort of). they like wearing a mixture of wierd clothes and mix different fashions together just for the heck of it. they like weed. genrally very laid back and relaxed.Someone who tries to live by the ideals of truth, freedom, love, and all those beautiful-sounding concepts.
I really liked that last part, living by the ideals of truth, freedom and love. My faith in humanity is...well it's not great. But I can honestly say that it's better then it was before. I like to mix-and-matxh all kinds of fashions. I listen to almost everything Musical. And Art as a concept is something I admire and study every single day. So instead of telling the world to go fuck itslef, I embrace it.
It's strange reading some of my thoughts in old journals and comparing them to my thoughts on the same subjects now. They are by no means alike. Some of the cynism and sarcasm is still there, I doubt it'll ever leave but I've got a generally brighter outlook on life.
Don't worry though, I'm not going to start putting flowers in any barrels any time soon or fighting for World Peace. Neither will I try to tell you how un-zen you are. But I'm pretty sure you won't find me in a mosh-pit screaming -ANARCHY! anytime soon either...
I'm not a punk. I'm not a hippie. And I'm not quite a Bohemian either. I'm somewhere inbetween.

Mixtape of my Mind.
Even if CD's became more and more frequent when I was younger I still remember the Mix Tapes. I remember recording Michael Jackson songs from the radio. Sitting around, sometimes for hours, waiting for that one song to play and then record it onto a tape.
I still remember the first one I got. I was about 8 when I spent a day at my Aunts house, she had a cd which I took a liking to. The next time we came to visit I got it, a tape she had made from that very CD. I don't remember what CD it was, I don't even remember what songs that were one it because that tape is long gone now. But I do remember the joy I experienced when I listened to it for the first time.
I kind of miss those tapes. Which songs would enter my very own Mixtape today? Well that changes from one day to another but right now, on this Sunday my (10 song) Mixtape would probably look/sound something like this:
- Living in a Box- Living in a Box
This song has been stuck in my head for two days now. It's a very "catchy" 80's tune that just, sticks. And it never fails to make me want to jump up and down and sing along. This eponymous song was probably their biggest hit and to me the best one too. Not that it's the best song ever made but it's totally listenable and sticks in your head for hours, trust me. - Paradise City- Guns N' Roses
Axl Rose may be one of the most pompous assholes to ever walk this planet. But there's no denying Guns N' Roses make good music. I've always had a soft spot for this band and this may not be my favorite song with them but it is pretty brilliant. And come on they've got Slash, how can it not be awesome? - Dear Jack- Jack's Mannequin
This band is relatively new to me. I haven't listened to them for long but from the first notes they had me. Brilliant music and lyrics. This is my favorite song by them, right now. Even if their song "The Mixed Tape" was the inspiration for this post. - Hair of the Dog- Nazareth
Nazareth is not one of my favorite metal bands and "Love Hurts" is by far their most famous song and a brilliant ballad. But there's just something about this one, if only the fact that it's on the Lords of Dogtown soundtrack and I relate it to that particular movie. - Assasin- John Mayer
I can not gush enough about the brilliance of this man. From the minute I first saw/heard "Bigger than My Body" on VH1 he had me permanently starstruck. Assasin is on his new album Battle Studies and it isn't my absolute favorite but I've been listening to it all week. The lyrics are just so...in lack of better words; captivating. - Waiting on a Star to Fall- Boy Meets Girl
Bloody Synthpop. Why is it that this particular genre of music is so...so...account stirring? It's not even that good really but somehow it makes me smile. This song is just one of those songs that will always make me smile no matter how down I might be. - A View to a Kill- Duran Duran
Duran Duran. 80's. Weird outfits. Bad Hairdos. What's not to like? Duran Duran has to be my favorite band from the 80's not from the Glam/Hair-Metal/Rock genre. Song after song they manage to make me giggle, dance and sing along. This particular one for those who doesn't know is a Bond song, to the movie with the same name. - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm- Crash Test Dummies
So the song name confused me quite a bit when I saw it for the first time. It may have made severeal "Bad Songs" lists but I like it. And his voice, by God. It's practically orgasmic. I'm serious, it should be illeagal to have a voice that low paired with those impossibly dark eyes. Mmmm... - Here I go Again- Whitesnake
I remember listening to this song in my dad's car ages ago. It was one of the songs that got me into Rock in the first place. It's just something about the lyrics, the music and David Coverdale's voice. This will always be one of my favorite songs and just because I remember listening to it in my dad's car I always think of him when I hear it, well that and the video with the cars... - Devil Inside- INXS
The first time I heard and INXS song was when I watched the Lost Boys for the first time. "Good Times" , which featured Jimmy Barnes is on the sountrack and that's how I found INXS. Front man Michael Hutchence may have left us (may he R.I.P.) but the band lives on with new front figures. There's not one song by this band that I dislike and "Devil Inside" is one of my favorites, just listen to the lyrics and the sound. Pure, absolute brilliance. The video though, is...well, see for yourselves.
Peace Out.

Feeling like a Gangster half the time and like a Doctor the other half is Awesome.
I bought a new coat on Monday and it reminds me of the coats the Saints wear in Boondock Saints. (There's a sequel too and it's awesome too). Brilliant movie, I've watched it twice already. Connor and Murphy are simply brilliant. Anyway the coat makes me feel like a gangster when I wear it. Proably because I relate it to the saints. It's awesome.
That's the Saints, obviously x). You can't really see the coats but I just had to put a picture of their awesomeness up here.
We got new coats for work too and that one makes me feel like a Doctor. So you may call me Dr. Lotta. *giggles*.
So inbetween feeling like a Doctor at work and a Gangster at my free-time what has been going on? Not much actually. The weather is brilliant right now, I feel spring coming! Yaaay. I've also begun re-vamping my Marauder fic at FF.net. The first chapters are tragic so I'm fixing them, finally.
Peace Out.
