The Times They are A-Changin'...

My grandmother had her birthday earlier this week, so I visited the G-parents, which was fun.

I haven't had the time to go see them in awhile, and I feel really bad for it. I love my grandparents and they've always been there for all of us. Which is why I've felt bad for not visiting. That's the thing about life, it runs away from you. Easter was spent in Sweden and working long-ish hours, friends, boyfriend and other family does take up your time.
They've also always been young-ish, my grandparents. My Grandfather was like an extra playmmate when we were younger...

But lately times have been hard, especially for them. They've aged incredibly in the last year. And that's made me realize that they're not that young anymore, it just never occured to me before because the age wasn't so noticable. It is now though. And I plan to spend as much time as I can with them, I don't understand people who don't.
Just not showing up for a birthday, because "You just couldn't be bothered". God, shit like that makes me so mad. How dare you even utter the words! To your grandparents, especially ours that has always...always been there.
Sick. But I know that I just "Can't be bothered to show up" on other birthdays as well, after that comment.

Anyway, happy belated birthday to my awesome Grandmother!

Easter.

So this Easter has been warm and great. I'm inlove with this weather♥.

Although I feel like all I've done this weekend is sleep and eat. Oh well. Life is great.

Well...not much else so say really...Happy belated Easter!

Curiosity killed the Cat.

Why are people so damn curious, or plain nosy about other people's lives?

Why is humankind these days so intent on knowing everything about everyone? Why are we so damn obsessed by celebrities? How come we read tabloids at all, why does that interest us?
Is it some kind of strange or perhaps slightly morbid curiosity?

I know that curiosity is good, we learn by being curious. We ask questions and get answers. It's human to be curious. How else would we learn anything?

But where do we draw the line between plain, old-fashioned, healthy curiousity and ugly, annoying nosiness?

I'm a person who likes to keep my private life, just that private!
I don't like talking to everyone about everything that's going on in my life. That is for me, my boyfriend, my family and friends to know not anyone else. It's none of their bloody business.

That's why I can't stand it when people feel this strange need to know every single thing and just doesn't seem to understand when enough is enough.

I'm the queen of vague answers, so mostly I do great when I think people are being too nosy. But then there's the people who can't take a hint and doesn't understand when to stop talking.

This is why I've been in a bad mood all week it seems...
There was alot of nosiness involved and I finally, just snapped and blurted something out that I kinda didn't want to say at all. Now I feel like a really bad person, like I betrayed someone close to me's trust.
I don't want to hurt anyone, and I just feel like shit. Maybe for no reason at all but I still do.

Fuck. Now I need a cigarette...too bad I quit.

Day 4: Your parents.

Mommy and Daddy, eh?

Well I've always gotten along pretty well with both my parents. They're not very intimidating, nervreckingly strict and they don't have these overwhelming demands or expectations. Now when I'm older I almost see them as friends more then my parents actually. Well not exactly like friends but differently then I did, say 5 years ago?

Mom.

My mom is Super-Mom. She can do everything, and when I say everything I actually mean every. single. thing.
She is also really good at cooking. There's nothing better then Mom's homecooked anything. Sincerely.
My mom and I get along fairly well, we're pretty different souls and think alot differently so occasionally we do butt heads. But most of the time we get along, like only mother-and-daughter can.

Dad.

I figure I am closer to my dad because we are so alike in so many ways. Which is why we get along so well but that is also why we argue sometimes. But my dad and I have always had this conecction, we just get eachother.
My Dad works alot, and he doesn't get enough credit for it.

That's my parents in a nutshell.

Weekend, Wedding, Wauw,

So this weekend was eventful.

Friday was spent cruising around with my friends ( <3 ) and picking people up then watching abit of TV before my friends boyfriend showed up and said; 'Hey why don't you come with me to fé!' (that's a bar by the by). So we said meeh, we both have to get up tomorrow but; why the hell not! So we ended up sitting there for a couple of hours talking to people and other...things.

Saturday was my Cousin's Wedding. So I did her make-up in the morning and then the actual wedding happened. It was beautiful, so beautiful! And then of course there was the party, which was fun. (like on of my friends put it; Free Booze! Hah, but seriously it was great). Somewhere towards the end another cousin was pertty hyper and somehow managed to convince me to join him to Affes (a nightclub/bar). I wasn't there for very long which probably was a good idea ;)

Sunday I slept. Alot. No hangover, thank god. Then my friend texted so we went cruising to IKEA, and other places just to have something to do.

So I did loads this weekend. And it was brilliant.

I love you guys.

This is cute. Isn't it?

Father's Day.

Today we celebrate Father's Day here in Finland. The day we celebrate all fathers.

We celebrated my dad with small gifts and congratulations. My dad is the best dad in the world...but I am slightly biased, right?

The thing is; I am, always have been and probably always will be a Daddy's Girl. And I'm not ashamed to say it, because it's true (I even have a beanie that says "Daddy's Girl". Then it has to be true, right?).
It's been that way ever since I was a toddler.
There's this epic picture of me and my dad lying on the living room floor. Him reading a "Truckers" magazine and I'm holding a childrens picture book. There we are both  lying on our backs with out hands above our heads holding the mentioned reading material. Exact same poses. There is no doubt that I am mimicking him. I can't be more than a year old on the picture.

My dad is awesome, he's like my hero in a way. Because there's nothing he can't do. He works so damn hard and really doesn't get enough credit for all the things he does. I sometimes can't understand how he has the strenght to do what he does every single day.
My dad has always been there for me, always. I have this conection with him that I can't explain...he understands me and I him. Mom always says we are too much alike sometimes. I always smile mentally when she says that.

My dad has been through alot and there was a point a couple of years ago when I feared he wouldn't make it. That was one of the scariest moments of my life.
I remember waking up crying so many nights from these horrible nightmares that I still haven't forgotten to this very day. I don't know if I ever will forget them...or if I want to. They remind me of how great my dad is and how tough and strong he can be. He can be the funniest, kindest, smartest guy in the room...but he can also be the nosiest, strangest and most ignorant guy there. And I love him for all of it. I probably don't say it enough but I do.

And even if I might have (on more than one occasion) said that Johnny Depp is the greatest man on earth...Dad, both you and I know that that isn't true. Because Johnny aint got nothing on you Dad. You are and always will be the greatest man in my world.

So this is for you Dad, the greatest man ever (atleast to me).

I love you and Happy Fathers Day.

Love, Daddy's Little Girl.

Really...Well That's...Weird...

Greetings Morons of the World!

I found out something incredibly interesting. My last name, if some ancestors hadn't changed it, would have been; Delamott (don't ask me how the fuck you spell it..because I do not know). Yeah pretty awesome, right!? It's french (I'm part french!!(I think...(maybe(almost)))). It's got a crest and everything. That's like...freaking cool! Why did my ancestors change it...I have no idea. It would have been soo much fun to be Charlotta Delamott...COME ON! How totally Gnarly wouldn't that be! Honest! Charlotta Emilia Delamott. Easily transformed into Charlotte Emilie Delamott. (FRENCH-NESS!) hahahaha...so awesome. I'm going to have to check up on this...sincerely.

I'll get back to you.

This Is a Stupid Title...

Good Eveening...(picture that said in Mr. Burns voice)

As I am typing (wauw I am so productive I can do two things at once!) this I am watching The Simpsons. Some weird wannabe Nightmare on Elmstreet episode. I think it's some kind of Halloween special...one of the many there is...

I went to "the city" today. Bought a new hoodie. It was from the mens side but I liked that one better then the once that were on womens side. Strange...or not really.
I also managed to stumble into the bookstore, I always manage to do that. And I found...drumroll please!
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte!! I've been looking for that for ages! So I couldn't just not buy it, could I? Really...

I also visited my Grandpa and Grandma...so I got alot done today.

Eat The Rich…

“Believe in all the good things
That money just can't buy
Then you won't get no bellyache
From eatin' humble pie
I believe in rags to riches
Your inheritance won't last
So take your Gray poupon my friend
And shove it up your ass”

-Aerosmith-

I am officially an Idiot. This morning, at an very indecent hour I might add, we took off in our boat towards the market. Daddy dearest’s idea, mind you. Well before that I was grumbling about being tired and made myself ready to head off. This involved applying an highly inflammable amount of Hairspray to my hair… When we then got out on the sea, at first I liked it but then…the horror! A thought struck me! My hair was still wet from the frigging Hairspray…it had not dried yet! So if you add wet Hairspray+a lot of Wind you get…=?
Yeah, one hell of a hairdo.  I realized that by the end of that very windy trip, my hair would look…well something like that…

We arrived at our destination. I immediately searched for a mirror. I found none. But I  did find a small window where i could see my reflection…
As expected …I looked like a bad version of an 80’s HairBand. Freaking Fantastic. Not. Well I managed to somehow fix my new do into something rather presentable. Mohah. Well next problem was that I was wearing my oh-so-fabulous Ripped Jeans. I love them. Older Ladies and Gents looked strangely at them…Oh well.

Now my brilliance is needed. Apparently my awesomeness is needed to fix some food. Yeah.

See you later Alligator…
See you in a while Crocodile…

I humbly apologize for the Lame-Ass lines…I couldn’t help myself.

There's a huge possibility...

...that I am from another planet.

Have you ever felt like that? Like you seem to think and register on a comepletely different level then those surrounding you. Like your brain was tuned into another radiowave than everyone elses?

Have you ever had that strange feeling when you stand in the middle of a crowd, that you are the only one that thinks about how stupidly that poster on the wall is placed, because everyone just walks by it without seeing it. But you saw it...you can't stop seeing it...why?

This happens to me frequently. Okay so I thought the Facebook Group "I Narrate My Life In My Head Like JD From Scrubs" was a funny name for a group so I joined it. But as I clicked on the "Join" button, I realize that I somewhat do. Sometimes I even do it out loud. I talk to myself. All my friends and family know that. I just understand things better when they are said out loud. Why? I haven't the foggiest...

I think out loud, and I narrate my life in my head sometimes. I see things differently. I highly suspect that noone else looks at a movie the same way I do...or thinks the same way about that special corner on that significant street...that doesn't really mean anything to me it is just a vivid picture in my mind, for some reason or the other.

This is why I think I might be from another Planet.
Maybe I'm from Planet Zchnoog. A Planet far, far away where noone is judged and speaking your thoughts out loud is as normal as eating cherry-pie for breakfast. Where everyone feels the need to talk like a pirate once in a while and loves to travel over the 10 seas that takes up most of the planets surface. Money is not an important fact and everyone gets along. The term "war" is an unknown term that doesn't excist and you are allowed to be just who you are. Eeeh, who am I kidding, a place like that doesn't excist...but one can dream.

Well hello...

Okay so I didn't update on our Roadtrip. Sorry. But it was fun and scroll down for some weird and pointless pictures...
I was in Turku this weekend. Vivi and I went to Harry Potter and the HBP...It...wans't awesome. A dissapointment really. But it was beautifully made, the cast was excellent esp. Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman and Tom Felton. Loved some of the humor-scenes. But the things that annoyed me outweighed the positive things. Sorry HBP you were no hit with me...next movie to watch Public Enemies!!! Johnny,Johnny,Johnny...sorry I am obsessed.
Then we went to a bar...and just hung out. It was really nice.

Then on Sunday I went for a Boat-Ride in our NEW awesome Boat. I love it. Pictures coming soon...

Today I was at work, just got home an hour ago...And now I'm questioning myself. What is wrong with me? Why can't I put my clothes INSIDE my cupboard where they belong? Why is that so hard? Why do I feel compelled to throw them all on the floor in piles...or any other awailable, empty surface in my room. I don't know, wouldn't it be easier if I just put them away? Apparently not...
Enough Ranting...
Me...On a swing...We flet chilidish that day, and I think that's my Cousins shoe...

Our Ride.

Roadtrip.

Dear Readers...

Prepare yourselves...

Because I have somehow been tricked into going on a Roadtrip with my family,Grandparents and Cousins
family. I am very afraid. This can't end well.

I am seeing mental pictures of the Apocalypse nearing, The Clowns taking over the world, our car breaking down. Just about anything CAN and WILL (probably) happen...
So if you feel the ground shake sometime after 11.00...feel free to blame us.

I'll post the happenings later...if I survive...

Over and Out...(gulp)...
