I'm a total Gleek.

I'll admit it. When I first heard about Glee I scoffed. It had to be dumb, bad and boring. I didn't even consider watching it. But now...I'm hooked. It's so damn cute! Easy to watch and some really talented kids.

Todays episode was Britney. We all love to dislike her. But she is one of the greatest pop culture icons of our generation, just like fabulous Kurt says.

So this is for Glee and Britney. Oh dear...

I just finished watching Dexter Season 4. And that season finale...wow.

It literally blew my mind. My God.

Too bad season 5 hasn't been released on DVD yet, or aired on TV, here. Bugger.

Day 11: Favorite tv shows

I'm addicted to alot of different TV Shows. C.S.I., Scrubs, Dexter, Sex and the City and so many more. But one show that I'm really into right now and that is;


How I Met Your Mother.

Ted's journey to finding the mother of his kids is one of the greatest shows I've ever seen.
The plot is slightly original, funny and the cast is brilliant.
Marshall, Lily, Robin, Barney and Ted just fit so well together and the actors they've chose to play each character couldn't be more right.

I am, like so many others, a huge fan of Barney Stinson though. He is my favorite character by far, the blonde suit-wearing awesome player played by Neil Patrick Harris never fails to make me laugh.
I adore the sweetness of Marshall and Lily, Robin's "self.awareness" and the hopeless romantic in Ted.

This show always makes me happy. 

Classic HIMYM.

JD and Turk are just Brilliant.

I feel not well today. I think I've got a small case of the flu. Damn.

I still have loads of Christmas shopping to do but thanks to my feeling rather low I spent the day watching Scrubs instead of doing something of importance.
Scrubs is just awesome and always makes me happy. The friendship between  JD and Turk is brilliant and it reminds me of the relationship between me and my best friend.

And then of course there's the ongoing, neverending love/hate relationship between Dr. Cox and JD. How can one not love that?

The Price of Beauty,

That's the name of Jessica Simpson's new show on MTV. It's basically about her and her two friends; CaCee Cobb & Ken Pavés, travelling the world and exploring different kinds of beauty.
I'm usually not one for MTV shows, because, let's be honest here, most of them are...well lame. (The Hills, My Sweet 16??)
But I actually find this one interesting and I've seen a few episodes now. It's very interesting to see what people all over the world consider beautiful. Because let's face it people; Beauty is kind of a big thing all over the globe wether we like it or not.

Because of my line of work; a Cosmetician, I deal with beauty, beauty-ideals, issues and things like that every single day. So some people might think that I'm superficial, because that is (sadly) how most people stereotype anyone that works in that line of business.
I would like to say that I'm not though. Yes, I do care what I look like and I do spend alot of time and money on the way I look, dress etc. But that's because I like it. I love shopping, I like trying out new hairstyles and I enjoy taking care of myself. My cupboards are filled with cremes, lotions, scrubs, masks and everything you could possibly imagine but I still wouldn't say I'm superficial.
Because I do put a great value in personality and inner beauty. Because we all know that being beautiful on the inside is so much more important. And that should always come first, but is it really that bad to want to look good? Because I think that if you think you look good, you feel good.
What matters is what you think, not everyone else. So as long as you're happy, everythings great, right?

But that's enough ranting and thinking for tonight. Now a song that's been stuck on my head for days now, it's strangely cute.

Hey, long title and pretty strange I know.

Today was normal. Which in a way was very relaxing. Later I'm going to pick up my friend from the Airport. Probably should get ready for that but I ended up here instead. What a surprise.

So, I've been watching Suoernatural a lot lately; hence this post's title. Just because it's awesome. It's about supernatural things, and starring two very attractive guys, how can I not like it?
And once again a fictional character has stolen my heart. Yeah, I'm so crushing on Dean Winchester right now. I think I might even leave my imaginary-husband Patrick Jane for him and elope.

I'm sorry Patrick, but this guy is awesome. And so damn cute.

Bad Things.

I just had to. I'm reading the True Blood books right now. And the TV-series are...well awesome. Twilight is ok but it's so refreshing to see real non-sparkling vampires for once. And the theme-song is so great. Jace Everett's voice gives me the chills and suits the sexiness of the series perfectly, don't you think?

Sunday.

Sunday again then eh. Friday and Satirday night was spent crusing around with my mates. It was fun and different. Just drifting around basically everywhere.
I love doing things like that. Because something something that simple can be so much fun and relaxing.

Today...I haven't done much. Done some things around the house, checked Spotify for new, awesome music. And watched loads of Dexter episodes. I love that show.

But enough ranting.

Half-way to 40.

So this is it then. I am now 20 years old. So my birthday was yesterday, but I didn't have time to update on the actual B-day.

I'm not obsessing  over age, having an age-crisis or anything...I think.
It's just the fact that I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that I've excisted on the ball filled with water and earthly masses we call planet earth. 20 years is a pretty long time. Okay, so maybe not that long of a time but to me that seems unfathomable.
So do I feel any different? Having entered my early twenties? No. Not one bit.

Oh, and before I go. Something that simply can't go unmentioned. I watched the 100th episode of Bones earlier. Where (SPOILER ALERT) Booth finally wants to try and have a relationship with Brennan. And what does the woman do? She gives him some stupid crap about protecting him from herself and her incabability to have a relationship or big heart or whatevere it was. WTF? Why did she have to go and do that? I was squealing as soon as Booth started talking but at the end I was in tears! These two belong together. This is what all viewers have been waiting for since...well forever! It may sound stupid, to be so involved with a TV Show. But that's...well me. But how Brennan can say no to this face...

is beyond me.
I thought the picture was very nice and well, cute. But then again all pictures of David Boreanaz are cute. I mean he was cute way-back-when he played Angel on Buffy, and later on Angels own epynomical show, which by the way is AWESOME.

But enough drool...I mean rambling.

I actually have a plan...

Saturday again. The first week of February is soon over, stranger than strange that is. When I come home from work I'm going to;

1. Eat.
2. Watch some movie...haven't decided which one yet...probably one I've watched a thousand times before.
3. At some point get ready to go out (which actually takes me more than an hour just because I get distracted along the way...psyko). If I haven't dozed off and overslept. My god I feel so old typing that, seriously. No I am going out tonight but I think I'll saty silver this time. Becaue yeah it's fun to sleep over from time to time..but there's noting that beats your own bed. So we'll see...haven't decided yet.

And that's my plan for today. An actual plan. I almost never plan so this is unusual. The master plan will probaly change still though. I'm pretty certain about that. Anyways.
And on that Bombshell...(Jeremy Clarkson (really should be Prime Minister), yes I've soo been watching Top Gear way to much again)...Good Day!

Wicked Musings...?

I've never really understood peoples' faschination with TV-shows such as Big Brother and Paradise Hotel. To me it's the most boring, bogus, heinous and most non-triumphant thing on the Boob Tube (Yes I watched Bill&Ted again. Sue Me).
I mean what's the point? Some dudes are stuck in a house/on a Island...we watch them eat, sleep, make-out, fight, talk, fight a little more and do the nasty all over the place. Um, what's so interesting about that?
There's no plot what-so-ever, not very interesting characters they are usually just annoying and very predictable. It's totally bogus! And come on...we all know that the whole thing is BS most of the time and set up and everything.
Or well...atleast I hope it is. Who in their right mind would sign up for a show like that, without getting a big fat wad of cash and/or being tricked into it?
I'd rather watch CSI or How I Met Your Mother all day instead of that crap. CSI has an interesting plot, really radical characters (Nick Stokes. Nick Stokes. Nick Stokes) and it's just plain awesomeness. Totally!

What brought this on, you might ask? Well it's Sunday and some channels find it fun and most thriumphant to have a PH marathon. Gag me with a spoon.

Dear Blog...

Last night I managed to get lost and somehow ended up at A8 x) I wonder how THAT happaned. Well anyways had loads of fun. Saw alot of people that I haven't seen in ages!
It's so much fun to talk to someone that you haven't talked to for awhile, because you have so much to talk about! Most Awesome.

Today...I haven't done that much. Basically; woke up, had a very-much-needed cup of coffee, watched Nin ja Warrior on the telly (I know. I know. Spare me please), then I went for a walk and the strangest thing happened. By bangs were coated in rime! My hair wasn't even wet! Most strange.
Now I'm sitting here listening to Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue and any other metal-band I happen to have stored somewhere...Radical!

If you were real...I would so marry you...

I have a tendency to get huge small crushes on TV-Characters (or any other fictional character), right now I have fallen in love with the TV-series The Mentalist. And of course it's eccentric and quirky leading man; Patrick Jane (Marry Me?). How can you not fall for him? You never know what he's going to do and the whole "psycic" thing is really cool. I've always had a minor faschination to psycic and paranormal things and that makes the show even better. He's not really psycic he just reads people really well. And even if you know he's going to do something weird and often very unappropriate you  squeal of joy and giggle every time it happens (atleast that's what I do). This guy is the coolest character right now, and matched with the rest of the team he becomes even funnier and more amazing.
So yeah if I could choose my imaginary TV-Husband it would totally be Patrick Jane right now. I think the wedding invatations (I expect the wedding gifts to start showing up in the near future...FYI We really want a bright red coffee maker...thank you very much...)should be showing up in your mailboxes any day now(If Ace and Eyeball hasn't played "Mailbox-Baseball with them again...).

As I am typing (wauw I am so productive I can do two things at once!) this I am watching The Simpsons. Some weird wannabe Nightmare on Elmstreet episode. I think it's some kind of Halloween special...one of the many there is...

I went to "the city" today. Bought a new hoodie. It was from the mens side but I liked that one better then the once that were on womens side. Strange...or not really.

I also managed to stumble into the bookstore, I always manage to do that. And I found...drumroll please!

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte!! I've been looking for that for ages! So I couldn't just not buy it, could I? Really...

I also visited my Grandpa and Grandma...so I got alot done today.

Like the Amii Stewart song "Knock on Wood" thunder and lighting was the main subject of last night. A pretty hard thunderstorm raged here. I actually find thunderstorms pretty nice. There's nothing better than lying in your bed with your covers snuggly around you, reading a good book and listening to the storm raging outside the window. Amazing.

Fun day at the course. Learned new things. Interesting and lots of yummy food.

It's funny how some people remind you of another, isn't it? I mean, I thought for sure that I saw Wendy Pepper, you know from Project Runway Season 1? This lady was practically her double! I honestly had to do a double take when I saw her. Wauw.

Dissapointment.

Your heart is pumping as you turn your eyes towards those little numbers in the right corner of your computer screen. They represent time. You watch as if in Slow Motion the 59 turns to 00. You feel the grin slip onto your face as you change your msn status to; "Not at the Computer". You can feelt the excitement building up from your toes to your ears...You rise. Slowly with a giddy smile and a skip in you step you walk towards the boob tube...

One of your favorite shows are about to start. You sit down, ready for awesomeness. You know this is going to be Legend-wait for it-dary as you reach for the remote.

You press the "3" and watch as the screen changes channel. The grin widens as you scan the info-tab at the bottom of your TV screen.

But wait!

Your smile starts to fade as you re-read the words on the info-tab. The tab dissapears and you frantically push the "info" button on the remote. Your eyes must have decieved you, they must have! The blue tab reappear and your worried and slightly scary smile slips into a frown.

Where the word "Life" should have been there is another TV show instead. You feel your frown slip into a dissapointed and confused pout as you try to figure out what just happened...

Your brain decides to join you again and tells you that last week was the Season Finale of your show. It had slipped your mind.

Dissapointment clouds your mind and soon turns into anger...directed at yourself. For building up the excitement only to be brutally brought down to earth by the cruel reality. Your memory-span is simply too short and TV shows change their airing times at the same rate as R-Pattz and K-Stew's relationship status...Frequently.

Reality Sucks Sometimes.

Hahaha!! Success! I won the war against those damn Dust-Bunnies! They plotted EVIL madness against me but I outsmarted them...now that I think about it that isn't much of an achievment...oh well...And I did it all while listening to one of my recent favorite songs Rob Zombie's; I'm Your Boogieman. Really great song.

I also watched Young Guns a western from 1988 starring Emilio Esteves,Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland! It was...okay. I have never been one for westerns besides American Outlaws...dunno why I like that one. Well, Young Guns was watchable, not awesome though. Kiefers character was cute though...ugh, I'm obsessed. And to think I didn't like the guy before...Wham.

Anywhoo...I'm gonna watch Life soon...I do love that show. Charlie Crews is one of the most awesome characters ever. yeah.
