Shoeaholics Look Away!

So a friend showed me this brand; Sugarfree Shoes.

I fainted a little.
Seriously.
I need a pair of these shoes.
Pronto.
As in, right now.

To Die For.
Gorgeous.

Forgive Me, For I Have Sinned...

I have bought yet another pair of shoes. Even when I knew I shouldn't.

Boots. Black. Almost Knee-High. Fabulous. To Die For. Just my size and on sale.

Did I need them? Well, no not exactly. But they were just so...pretty.

I stood there in the store cursing them for looking so damn good, and feeling great on my feet (the Sales-Woman actually snickered at me because I did this out-loud). So how could I just leave them there?

I feel like, and probably am a borderline Shopaholic. And watching "Confessions of a Shopaholic" doesn't exactly help, does it? I need to read the books, I think.

Anyway, I love shopping. I love fashion. It's awesome, I mean...Don't you?

Another Outfit.

We all kind of want Spring to hurry up and get here already. Not only am I so sick and tired of this stupid snow, I'm also waiting for the fashion and color spring always brings.

I was bored so I visited Polyvore and made an outfit. This one, is an oufit that I would love to wear, soon, when Spring approaches but it's not so warm that you can shed all the extra clothing. It shows my love for the color Red, my small obsession with wedge heeled shoes and the fact that I've started to use Blue in my eye-make-up for a really nice and dramatic effect.

It also combines my love for designers; Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Alexander Wang. I love their styles and could definitley see myself donning some of their fabulous creations.

Day 22: What's in your purse?

My purse is almost always filled with stuff that I need, and then somehow things that I don't need find themselves lost in there as well.

I surprised even myself when I took time to take pictures of almost everything in my purse. Freaky.

This is the bag I use right now.

This is my wallet. It is almost always in my bag.

My Alice in Wonderland Dayplanner.

This contains neccesary make-up.

This is mentioned Make-up.

In this little fellow I store my keys so they don't get lost.

This contains coins, a flashlight and other stuff.
So that is basically what one can find in my bag. Amongst; Candies, Random Notes, Cigarettes, Lighters and the occasional book or extra gloves.

Day 12: Something you don't leave the house without.

There are actually not alot of things that I don't leave the house without. I'm not really that dependent on alot of things.

But my Phone is one thing, if I don't forget it that is...I've agtually gotten better on having my phone with me. So that is almost always on my person these days.

Another thing is, pathetically, Eyeliner and Mascara. Yep, I'm kinda addicted to make-up. I can deal with being without make-up, but the Eyeliner and Mascara is almost always on.

My handbag, or well one of my handbags seldom leave my shoulder or arm.

Then there's nailpolish. My nails are very seldom without it. And I feel weird if they are.

Now I feel really, really superficial. But the last thing has to be Hairspray. Yep, Hairspray addict right here.

I Love/Hate the fact that Christmas is approaching.

So I've been looking at dresses, the Shopaholic in me is screaming that I need something new to wear at Christmas. Because it is approaching terrifyingly fast, that holdiay we all have a Love/Hate relationship with.
Because yes, I like the food, the lights and decorations, the tree, the whole feel of Christmas.
The stress, I could live without. And I love giving my near and dear gifts and yet I hate buying them. Because I can never figure out what to give them, seriously it is a humongous issue for me. Ew.

Anyway here's some dresses I found, aren't they prrrrrrrrrretty?

London Dress EUR 29,90, Only - NELLY.COM

Carrie EUR 82,50, Jarlo - NELLY.COM

Farina Dress EUR 94,90, Samsøe Samsøe - NELLY.COM

I also stumbled over these in the Shoe section, I couldn't help myself. I had to look.

Lamia EUR 27,90, Nelly Shoes - NELLY.COM

People Like Me Shouldn't Be Allowed To Enter Stores. Ever.

I think I might be a boarderline Shopaholic. Okay so it might not be that serious but I have spent way too much money on clothes, bags and shoes recently. I just can't help it! I've just seen and "needed" so much lately. Or I think I need a new pair of ankle boots when I have a perfectly nice pair at home.
Well, shit happens.
Now I' promising myself not  to shop anything that I really don't need before Christmas. Or...atleast I'll try.

So anyway here's my new ankleboots. I love them and so do not regret buying them.

Outfit.

So I found this site thanks to another blogger and friend of mine Jeffi. And it's awesome. It's called Polyvore where you create your own oufit. Here is one that I would love to have for the autumn. Lot's of layers, because I love that. Ankle boots, a beanie and leg warmers; something I personally think is a must right now.

Wishful Thinking?

The Price of Beauty,

That's the name of Jessica Simpson's new show on MTV. It's basically about her and her two friends; CaCee Cobb & Ken Pavés, travelling the world and exploring different kinds of beauty.
I'm usually not one for MTV shows, because, let's be honest here, most of them are...well lame. (The Hills, My Sweet 16??)
But I actually find this one interesting and I've seen a few episodes now. It's very interesting to see what people all over the world consider beautiful. Because let's face it people; Beauty is kind of a big thing all over the globe wether we like it or not.

Because of my line of work; a Cosmetician, I deal with beauty, beauty-ideals, issues and things like that every single day. So some people might think that I'm superficial, because that is (sadly) how most people stereotype anyone that works in that line of business.
I would like to say that I'm not though. Yes, I do care what I look like and I do spend alot of time and money on the way I look, dress etc. But that's because I like it. I love shopping, I like trying out new hairstyles and I enjoy taking care of myself. My cupboards are filled with cremes, lotions, scrubs, masks and everything you could possibly imagine but I still wouldn't say I'm superficial.
Because I do put a great value in personality and inner beauty. Because we all know that being beautiful on the inside is so much more important. And that should always come first, but is it really that bad to want to look good? Because I think that if you think you look good, you feel good.
What matters is what you think, not everyone else. So as long as you're happy, everythings great, right?

But that's enough ranting and thinking for tonight. Now a song that's been stuck on my head for days now, it's strangely cute.

Carrie Bradshaw; The Patron Saint of Shoes?

A couple of years ago, hell even one year ago you wouldn't have caught me dead in a pair of heels.I thought they were deathtraps that would never make their way onto my feet. Well, that and I couldn't walk in them.

Now, it's a whole different story. I've practised and can actually walk in heels now. So I find myself drooling infront of shoe-shops slightly too often. Watching old Sex and the City reruns doesn't exactly help. I mean Carrie Bradshaw has to be a spokesperson for shoes everywhere.  When I think about it...not only shoes but fashion over all.
Just look at these examples. They are fabulous, the fact that SJP seems to be able to pull of basically anything does help though.
So where does my newly found obsession with shoes begin? I've always adored Carrie's shoes way before I was able to walk in something remotely like them. But now when I can, and I have the money to buy them, they seem to find their way into my closet. Awesomeness.
I have personally fallen inlove with the brand; Tamaris. Check out this link for some of their gorgeous ankle boots.
Right now though I'm in search for a pair of comfrotable, basic and good looking pumps.
Something like these. What is your favorite type of shoe? I'm a boot girl myself, has something to do with the Rocker Chick inside me I think.
And since my cousin was yapping to me about quitting his blog (I know!) I promised that I would put up a link here, so if you want, check it out. It's actually pretty funny, he's a whiz at photoshopping and puts up his work frequently. And ah, then there's his obsession with Alvin and the Chipmunks. Yeah. I choose not to comment that. Yeah.

Charlie (I felt like calling myself that today) Out.

Thoughts on Interior Design.

Earlier today I found myself leafing through Jeanne D' Arc Living, an interior magazine. It had alot of nice ideas, and I've always enjoyed getting design ideas. Now especially since the aspect of getting a place of my own actually seems to be getting closer.
The problem with JDAL is that it was alot of classic stuff, lots of white. While it is nice, it's just that...it's just nice. Not fantasitc, awesome or even brilliant...just nice. I'm more into modern designs or retro (the colors mostly)...some bohemian designs strikes my fancy as well. So a pretty strange mix of all that would be my ideal living-area. Awesomeness.

I seriously can't wait until I find an apartment, just so I can decorate it. I'm insane, aren't I?

Lotta Out.

And now some pictures that I found on the inter-web. Aren't they just fabulous?

Thoughts on Hair and Labels.

I just happened to stumble over an article about Agyness Deyn.
Apparently she's cut all her hair off. The article said; "She did a Britney". That disturbed me. Because I like Agyness, her style is brilliant and she is gorgeous. Miss Spears on the other hand...well let's just not get into that.
Why does everything have to be labeled like that? Because Agyness shaved her hair off, for the first time, long before Britney got slightly mad and did it. So shouldn't Britney be the one who did an "Agyness" then?
Either way, Agyness looks brilliant, as usual.

Her new haircut. I do like her old style better though even if she actually pulls this one off.

I should cut my hair again too I think. But don't worry I won't pull an "Agyness" and shave it all off. I might go for some of her other hairstyles thouhg, only...not blonde.

Peace Out.

Sherlock Holmes.

So I just watched Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. And it was brilliant. The dialouge, the cast and the way it was shot was great. the plot could have been better but all in all better then I expected.
The interaction between Downey and Law was a joy to watch and the pair basically made the whole movie in my opinion. (Read my full review here.)

One thing that I instantly fell for was the muddy-brown tones the whole movie was set in and the costumes. Oh the costumes were brilliant. I want Holmes and Watsons hats and coats! I thought that the stylist had really done a great job with the costumes, they were pure awesomeness. Just look at these;

A little collage I made to honour the most tubular outfits and characters. Am I really the only one who want's those coats and hats? Do tell me if I am. And yes I do know that these are mens clothing. Who Cares? They look wicked handsome to me and I wouldnt mind wearing them...or something similar with a feminine touch. Savvy?

Riight...

Dunno why I said that...oh well. Here I am, slightly bored and full of Ben&Jerry's Cheescake Strawberry Ice Cream. Mmmm...Ice Cream...
Not mucch has happened since my Cabin visit, I managed to survive the Cabin fever and got back to work today. Did so not want to get out of the bed this morning though...ugh.

Watched Walk The Line last night, it was a good movie. Awesome performances by the cast.

I have also bought another bag! Yaaay...a tru Rock N' Roll bag with Elvis and Jim Morrison (The Doors) on it...to name a few.

What else? Nada.

Rain+Boredom=?

Helou Minions.

Today it's pretty much storming out there. Ew. Rain, wind...and oh look more rain. Still doesn't come close to the storm we had in Croatia...but anyways.

Oooh...I bought this cute red hooded sweater yesterday and me loves it! Also Sale-shopped in Lindex today, found nothing. Damnation. That was a dissapointment.

But I did visit the bookstore. Why mum (she was with me) ever let me go there is a mystery.
I can't walk out of there without buying something! Today was no exeption...I ended up buying Sophie Kinsella's Remember Me? I jus felt like i needed a somewhat easy read, and hey, I'm a sucker for those cheesy but oh so funny romance stories!

Have I told you that I bought Jean Paul Gaultier's Madame awhile ago. I adore it! And the ad...fantastic! My fashion muse and favorite model Agyness Deyn is in it, and the spokesperson for the perfume. Here's the ad.

Joe Blasco & M&M’s

So today we had this totally pointless Joe Blasco training-session-thingy. Well it was rather interesting and we are going to get the foundation!
But since our days at this school is pretty much over and we aren’t going to use the products (if the school takes them in) it felt rather pointless…

We also had this Aroma-Therapy Massage Test…it went pretty well. Also felt like a total waste but…hey…what can you do? Didn’t do that much else today…

Well I did raid the S-Market next door and bought M&M’s my own M&M'spersonal drug…one of them that is… But I guess that’s all I have to rant about….
